willing to work with me and give me options Went in to trade a truck in, upon parking i was met with a salesman that was obviously waiting for a customer to pull up. Not saying this is a bad tac Went in to trade a truck in, upon parking i was met with a salesman that was obviously waiting for a customer to pull up. Not saying this is a bad tactic, maybe a little stereotypical but I fully understand that salesman have to grind a bit for customers, nature of the beast. Met with Al and he seemed more than willing to help me find another truck. I had one already picked out, he promptly got the keys and retrieved the truck. Went on test drive and had a general conversation along the way. I decided that i wanted to try and work a deal on that particular truck. After the sales manager went through his process in the glass box i was given the all mighty first quote that i would assume no one takes but i guess i could be wrong. After some debate and with the way i wanted to do my side of the transaction found out that this truck was not going to fit the bill. Al went through a few options that his manager had given him, obviously in every car dealership they want to up sale you to a brand new shiny truck and in some cases might be the better option. In mine i had already had a few other options i had researched. Spoke with Al about another truck they had and he promptly got the truck on the way to the dealer from another lot. That process did take quite awhile. Once again understandable, I never expect to buy a vehicle in under 3 hours anyway. Once the truck had arrived we took another test drive and i was satisfied with that truck. Back to the ever fun and daunting task of the negotiations between the pit boss and the middleman salesman. But this time it went fairly quick "in car dealership time" of course. In the end i was happy with the deal, i know the dealership always comes out ahead but no one goes into business with a plan to lose money. All in all the experience was good, friendly people nice facility very clean and for the most part streamline. More
