The one thing I would like to see all dealers do would be to discuss all warranty and "add-on" expenses prior to meeting with the finance rep. Even with the most efficient dealerships once you get to go to the "finance desk" you are tired and just want to go home with your purchase. Presenting multiple warranty and/or protection options when the customer is in this state can lead to buyers remorse situations. Let the sales dept handle selling the customer while they are still in the sales department. Then let the finance guru figure out the payments. More
