But after a few minutes, I knew I wasn’t talking to just anyone – I was actually talking to THE VW MAN. He’s definitely that and then some. And there’s a reason why he is called that. He’s very passionate about helping his customers, what he does, and the VW brand in general. A wealth of information and a true professional. He wasn’t pushy – but honest. I knew I had to make a quick decision about this car. Thankfully I did. If it wasn’t for John Parkinson, I wouldn’t have this car. The next day the car had four deposits on it. I felt like a won the lotto tbh. I’ve always wanted a Golf GTI since my early 20’s. So, to get a Golf R in my late 40’s – I’m stoked– call it my midlife purchase. Back to John Parkinson.
