Everyone at the dealership was extremely helpful and friendly. Woody Sims was the salesman who sold me the car. I had a very good experience with Deery. They found the exact car I wanted and didn't push to get "extras" that I didn't want or need. My last car purchase was over 11 years ago and the whole process of buying a car is a bit nerve wrecking. Steven debunked the care salesman stereotype by not pressuring me to buy. I love my car. I was in the market for a new or slightly used truck, spent many hours on the internet and on the road trying to do my homework as best as possible. I had a very bad experience with the Nissan dealership spent many hours on the internet and on the road trying to do my homework as best as possible. I had a very bad experience with the Nissan dealership in Cedar Rapids. This certainly was not the case with Bill or Deery brothers. Bill was very professional, shook my hand looked me square in the eyes,told me there was no stupid questions, and belive me there were alot to ask. You know when you spend that much money you dont want to be pressured into any decision. We were offered water for us and our doggies, left twice to make my decision. Once I had made my decision all the paperwok went smooth and quick. I would like to recomend Mr. Spurrells and Deery brothers services to anyone. They all told me they wanted to make it as easy as possible to end up with a good deal. I feel very good about my purchase. The courtsey and attitude go along way with me. I would definitely use there services again. The price I got was well within bluebook. More

I am not an easy man to impress. I EXPECT exceptional customer service and quality, especially when it comes to auto and home shopping. With this said, I cannot say enough about Deery Ford. From the time we contacted them until we drove off the lot, all in ONE DAY, we were constantly thrilled with the quality of customer service and their finance dept. We left with a newer model SUV with payments we were comfortable with and the knowledge that if we had a problem we could go back to them with confidence they will take care of us. Now let me also note that we were there to rebuild our credit. We did not walk in there with gobs of money to put down or with 900+ credit. They understood and bent over backwards for our business and make us feel as though our comfort was their #1 PRIORITY! Thank You Deery Ford! You've earned our business! More

We are the proud owners of our first Ford thanks to the active listening skills of Bill. When we realized that our daughter's wheels were 6 years old and a little fender bender at her friends house would active listening skills of Bill. When we realized that our daughter's wheels were 6 years old and a little fender bender at her friends house would cost more than we wanted to spend to make the car whole; my husband and I went searching for a "new-to-us" (aka used) car for her to drive. We test drove many cars that sunny Saturday and I left my cell phone number at three other Iowa City dealerships with the specifications of the type of vehicle we were searching for....Bill listened and called me back when he had the perfect match for us, a 2008 Ford Focus with low miles, one owner and the qualified for the Ford Certification, which I needed in order to put my mind at ease when our daughter goes off exploring her world. I am so grateful that I listened carefully to Bill's voicemail message and took her in to 'look' at the car. She agreed to test drive it and then when Bill showcased that it was a SMART car...she was intrigued. Her intrigue finally overcame her 'gray' car issues and with some additional research and reassurance that color doesn't matter, we were able to seal the deal with her. Then we were lucky enough to be able to seal the deal with Bill (which I assure you was the easy part!) Bill was patient, diligent, and dedicated to the product. His empathy for the plight of parents trying to help put their college student in a safe car that didn't, at first, match her vision of a car 'she would drive' was the sole factor in ensuring that our needs for her safety and well-being were met and her needs for embracing a new to her car were met. We had been looking for a Miata for some time. This was a great opportunity as you rarely see used on the lot. This one was in exceptional condition. My vehicle purchase with Deery Brothers Ford, specifically Bill Spurrell, was really wonderful. The first time I came into Deery Brothers I explained to Bill that I was looking to purchase within specifically Bill Spurrell, was really wonderful. The first time I came into Deery Brothers I explained to Bill that I was looking to purchase within the next 6 months. Bill took the time to explain to me the features of the Ford Fusion and the differences in the various trims. Although I felt bad about it, he even stayed late explaining to me features of the car and various financing options. Come the following week (i.e. this past Saturday) I found a used car at another dealer I liked that I felt was worth moving on, in a quicker than anticipated manner. I wrote a courtesy email to Bill to let him know that I was going with another dealership. Long story short he got back to me and said “all I ask for is that I get a chance to earn your business.” That he certainly did. I stopped in on my way to the other dealership and the professionalism, patience, genuine concern to help me get a good car at a reasonable price won me over. Although I didn’t walk in knowing it that Saturday morning, by Saturday afternoon I was the happy owner of a Ford Fusion. I only wish I remembered the financing guys name (possibly Gary?) because he was also a joy to work with. He took the time to explain everything well and was patient as I wanted to read everything carefully. I was really impressed that there were no tricky/pushy sales tactics used. I say that bearing in mind that this was my FIRST new car. You only buy one first new car and Bill and everyone at Deery Brothers made this a great experience. I would absolutely recommend a visit over to Deery Brother Ford. More
