I have to tell you, this deal ship blows them all out of the water, hands down! It seems today, car dealerships hire mainly young, loud guys who don't seems to understand the concept of calling someone back let alone being a true professional. From the first phone call I made to Jeff at Delray Acura, I could tell, they were a whole other animal entirely. Jeff listened attentively, called back immediately that day and not only that but...they had the deal closed within the day! It is important to note in this review( I feel) that I was not purchasing a very expensive car. I was driving out from Daytona to buy a Smart car they had on their lot that was a great deal. However, Jeff and the other men treated myself and my son as if we were the most important guests they would see that day. They greeted us right away, took us for the test drive within minutes, and had us smiling the whole time! While Jeff was getting my papers ready and getting my car pulled around, I also had the opportunity to observe the sales style of the other staff members. I was incredibly impressed. They were all mature learned, well spoken gentlemen. It was almost as if you got the feeling that sales floor was their personal collection of fine vehicles and they were just showing an interested friend the finer points. I should also mention, it appeared from the conversations I overheard, they were all return customers! This dealership has managed to capture within its walls new school amenities while keeping the most important thing of all...old school salesman ship! I would not have been shocked if I had whitnessed a deal closed with a handshake around this place. The men I dealt with were salt of the earth while making me feel that I could completely trust in their knowledge of product and finance. I mean, joking and laughing during a closing on a car? I have never had that happen before in my lifetime anyway, but it did this weekend! I don't know how the owner of this place managed to get a dealership smack in the middle of beautiful Delray Beach near downtown with such an incredible and skilled staff. Is he a Harry Potter Warlock, The Great and powerful OZ? We may never know for sure, but I do know this, I will be a customer for life and a faithful town crier telling anyone who will listen, this dealer is worth making a daytrip for! I live in Michigan and travel to Florida in the winter. I started on line researching the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder which I previous owned and decided that a 2008 Spyder would be perfect. After weeks of looking I spotted an aid from Delray Acura/Hyundai for a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible. I contacted Gerry Weiss in sales for information about the car. Gerry was a real professional and answered my questions honestly. I was concern with buying a car from out of state and unseen so I check on the integrity of the Delray dealership. They had a very high customer satisfaction rating so I proceeded to purchase the car. Working with Garry and his sales manager Paul we agreed on a price and they took care of all the paper work. The whole transaction went as smooth as if I purchased the car from a dealer down the street. The car was delivered by Mercury Auto Transport in a few weeks and was in the condition Gerry had described. I have had the car now for six months and couldn’t be more satisfied with it. I am new to the area and needed a odd repair done. I called acura and spoke with josh. I have in the past had very bad experiences with car dealerships not following through on what was discussed and re called acura and spoke with josh. Josh was friendly patient and most important took the time to look into my warranty and make all the calls needed to get repair approved. Upon arriving to dealership josh had everything ready and took the time to explain everything step by step. I am not one to very often take time to write reviews but I felt that Josh's excellent service and honesty really needed to be acknowledged.
