This says a lot since I have been a huge Toyota fan my entire life, receiving quality products, repairs, and customer services from Toyota dealerships in San Diego, CA and Flagstaff, AZ. For these reasons, I made the decision to continue to go to a Toyota dealership once I moved to Tucson for repairs. This was a huge mistake. I paid close to 1,000 dollars in repairs for a timing belt, water pump, and serpentine belt in April of 2017, which was higher than other competitors I received quotes from in the area. I went this route because of my previous experiences with Toyota dealerships and wanted the ease of mind knowing such important repairs were done correctly. Two days later, as I was heading to work, I broke down in the middle of the road because the mechanics did not put my engine back correctly. A transmission line was broken while they repaired my timing belt, which led to all of the fluid leaking out of my car, ultimately damaging the transmission. I was told by the service manager, Brian Bradley, that he would compensate me for their mistakes, in addition to the damages, inconvenience, and the time I lost from work. After a week of waiting for him to call me back, I started calling him multiple times a day, leaving my name and number, but didn’t get a call back for a whole week. Once he did call back, the customer service was horrible. Instead of apologizing for the mistakes his team made, not calling me back, and the inconveniences he has put me through, he argued and mocked me, saying he never spoke to me or promised me anything. In addition, he lied to me and said he wasn’t even at work that day, telling me that someone must be impersonating him since I am positive I talked to him. At the end of the conversation, he told me he would call me back in an hour after he talks to the person in charge of my repairs. It wasn’t until the next day I received a call, where he was only willing to give me a 15% discount on what I paid, which they never sent, nor would it adequately make up for the day at work I lost, damages to my vehicle, and the poor customer service I received as I was belittled from their management. Therefore, I would never recommend anyone to go to Desert Toyota unless you want your vehicle to be damaged, to be lied to, and to waste your time. ***Update*** After waiting over two weeks to receive my reimbursement, I decided to contact Kindra Pluss, the customer service manager, to inform her of how I was mistreated. At first, she seemed great and told me that she agreed a 15% discount does not adequately make up for the treatment I received. For that, she said she was willing to talk to the GM to increase the amount I will receive. After waiting over week for her to call back, I decided to call her. This time, she said she was not willing to work with me and her manager, Brian Bradley, is accusing me of extortion, even though it was her who offered to try and make it right in the first place. This business is corrupt on every level, avoid at all cost. More
Service Dept and Kyle Brooks Bought our Prius from Desert Toyota in '09 and have continued our service there (even after the extended warranty expired)---we had some early issues Bought our Prius from Desert Toyota in '09 and have continued our service there (even after the extended warranty expired)---we had some early issues with the car itself and Toyota had to take the car and work for weeks on the electrical system but since that early time (at about 2 years) our servicing has been more routine. And we have enjoyed the car. Kyle is our "go-to" guy and he is always responsive, polite/personable and concerned about our Prius and US! He gives us accurate information and is a 'man of his word'. We have been happy with our whole service team and the facility in general. As retired people, we always have to be concerned with costs and Kyle is very sensitive to that. I hope that we continue to have his assistance with this Prius and any future Toyota we might have! More

For this visit, I needed to get in quickly for service and Kristin was able to not only get me in but managed to get my car back sooner than expected. Can not think of anything to change. I go to Desert Toyota even though I live on the west side of town because I think they do a great job. More

Just dont Worst experiences ever! Bought a brand new vehicle 02/2015 and have taken it here for service every oil change/service since. Im not one to write revi Worst experiences ever! Bought a brand new vehicle 02/2015 and have taken it here for service every oil change/service since. Im not one to write reviews normally or write a bad review after just one bad experience. Having that said, I have NEVER had a good experience here. 4 of my visits have all been with the same service advisor and without writing an essay I'll try and sum it up with the main issues. VERY FIRST oil change with my brand new vehicle, my service advisor gets in my vehicle and i swear she must have punched the gas and took a corner like it was a rally vehicle..this is a Toyota 4runner mind you. 2nd visit, i came and picked up my vehicle, waited to be helped and wasnt even acknowledged for a good 10 minutes. 6 people there, maybe 2 of which were assisting people. Finally I approach someone who seemed annoyed that i would interrupt her while she was clearly not busy. She then pages my advisor.. my advisor acknowledges me and i advised im in a bit of a rush(very frustrated at this point but dont voice it). Mid sentence, she notices a friend or someone she knows and just leaves me and goes and hugs her friend and engages in a lengthy conversation. No "hey let me finish helping this guy and ill be right there", no, just total abandonment. At this point her FRIEND..not her, the so called customer service adisor...her FRIEND says, "hey shouldnt you finish helping this guy?", to which point she looks annoyed and then proceeds to help me. Since my vehicle service is covered, I literally just need her to give me my keys and leave, i dont need to pay or approve anything..just need my keys. 3rd experience.. I make an appointment online to be sure I dont get the same lady.. drop my vehicle off @ 9am for an oil change..ask to be called when i can pick it up since i work right up the road. I was given a timeframe of an hour or two, which seems long but I was working so I wnet with it. I dont get a call until 530pm saying my vehicle is ready! Dropped off @ 9am, ready @ 5:30pm. God forbid i need some serious service done! Anyway, I never thought Id be so happy to now be out of warranty so I dont have to go here any more. I love Toyota, I love my vehicle, but this service or lack thereof will make me question a new Toyota vehicle purchase in the future. More
Excellent service and surroundings Terry has been taking care of us and our two - now one - car since about 2000. He is professional, kind, friendly, honest, helpful, and knowledgeable Terry has been taking care of us and our two - now one - car since about 2000. He is professional, kind, friendly, honest, helpful, and knowledgeable. We can count on him to tell us what we need, and what we don't need yet or maybe not ever. Under his direction everything has always been done perfectly. And three cheers to Desert Toyota for a lovely, clean, well-appointed lounge where one can wait in comfort, read or watch TV, work on a laptop, have a snack, and sip (free) Starbucks coffee. Highly recommended! More

Terrible service - incompetent Service center has system where they assign you some "specialist". I was assigned 19 kid that doesn't know anything. They replaced my combination mete Service center has system where they assign you some "specialist". I was assigned 19 kid that doesn't know anything. They replaced my combination meter. Get back car and odometer reads 299k miles. It had less than 100k when I brought it in. Gas tank completely empty. Clock is two hours off. It takes 30 minutes on hold. 3 messages and finally demanding to speak to manager to get them on the phone. They put someone else's meter in my car. Another 30 min drive back. Sit in service center for 2 more hours. They fix it. Manager never once leaves his office to talk to me. I have to twist the arm of the 19 year old kid to get him to offer a free $100 oil change next time I come in. I spend $100 for an oil change there instead of quick lube because they are supposedly the most knowledgable to fix my car. Obviously though they are just as incompetent. Just as indifferent about happy customers as anyone else. Obviously can't expect competence or better service regardless of how much more I pay. More
