You didn't ask us a question and you're angry with us? If we had told you that there were two keys, but produced only one, then we could understand your distress. Brand new cars always come with at least two keys. Used cars come with however many keys the previous customer gave us. We have never altered the value of a customer's trade-in because they only had one key. We have scoured our database and see no customer named "Pookey" so we don't even know who you are. We have contacted all of our recent remote deliveries and they are not unhappy. Feel free to call us 863.494.4848 and ask for Chad, he's one of our managers and is expecting your call.

Yes, because every used car we have purchased for at least the last 15 years has had two keys. It is an expectation - certainly with new cars, but also with used cars, due to the high cost of replacement. And when we have sold cars - to dealers or to private individuals, the expectation has been the same on the other side of the transaction. You can talk with Stephen Krause in your sales department. He knows quite well who we are.

Desoto responded "privately" that Management was looking at this. Well, apparently all they did was "look" because they have failed to respond to us. We are now out of pocket more than $2,500 with no resolution from them. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS.

You guys settled my claim through Better Business Bureau on July 4, but have yet to send the agreed upon amount of $1,855.46. Where's the check? I'll re-open the complaint if not received by August 3.

For those of you following this claim, we filed with the Better Business Bureau months ago. After a lot of back-and-forth, Desoto settled with us on part of our complaints. They offered settlement on July 1. As of August 23, we still have no payment from them. I have to remind them weekly that they agreed to pay and they say they will look into it, but so far, nothing.

desoto ford used to be where everyone in the heartland would come to buy trucks. arcadia was nicknamed truck country. now the dealership is the worst ive ever delt with. the service department is run by the rudest individuals. should be an embarrasment to ford motor company. donot reccomend this dealer to anyone

We gave David and Mary Harwood a loaner car because they had been good customers, not because we were obligated to do so. The issue with their car was not safety related and it is an easy fix. The trouble is that we just can’t get the parts as they are on national backorder (but they could not be made to understand that fact)! As happens, the loaner the Harwoods were driving was sold and we needed it returned so we could exchange it with them for another loaner. They refused to return the loaner. They would not answer our phone calls. They blocked our numbers. When the plates on the loaner expired, Mr. Harwood showed up at the dealership with just the license plates in-hand wanting us to update them so his wife could continue to drive our car. We explained that we needed the loaner returned and he agreed to do so. Three days later, when the loaner had still not been returned, we went to Mrs. Harwood’s place of employment and retrieved our property. Yes, the police became involved – both DeSoto County and Arcadia departments agreed that she was out of line for making such a fuss and instructed her to remove her belongings from our car! To say more about this incident would be like yelling at clouds in the sky…

first of all you never called us the whole time you had marys car. the only updates we got is when I came in and checked.I was patient each time and polite to chris. We were never informed you sold the car until i took the license plate in to be updated which is what chris told me to do a week earlier. I said mary would have the car therer the next morning if you could give her another car to drive and you said yes. due to past experienceas with you mary called ford customer service . they said to hang on to the car until they checked into it. you came to her work place the next day with no warning or phone call. the only call we recieved was at 200 that afternoon about the time you got the car. we never blocked your number or refused to answerd the phone because you never called.that is how it went and the fact that you are lying is an indication to these fine people of arcadia of how your delership is.

they told us we couldnt have a loaner from the start. tim kratzer got us the car a month later . rob told mary "yes, thats why he isnt here anymore". i wonder what you pay for a posative review. shafty dealership!
