If I could give 0 stars I would. I made an appt with a gentleman to have my car serviced at your location on 9/2/20. During the call, he asked about main concerns and whether there were any dashboard ligh gentleman to have my car serviced at your location on 9/2/20. During the call, he asked about main concerns and whether there were any dashboard lights in which I told him my issues and that there were two -tire pressure and service engine soon. I took my car in on 09/02 reiterated my issues to Eric. Eric explained that the inspection would cost 21 dollars whether I passed or fail. He also mentioned the $125 diagnostic fee that is needed to determine the shaking of steering wheel and knocking in engine. I requested that he proceed with service. I left the service center and shortly recieved a call from Eric stating that it would be an additional $125 to diagnose another issue. So we are already at $250+ and nothing has been done yet. I was hesitant due to cost but explained to Eric to go ahead and proceed. I recieved a call again later that day from Eric telling me that he didn't realize the service engine light was on so he would have to fail my inspection. Here is my issue, the service light was visible on dashboard clear as day..it was there when I drove the car up to the podium..it was there when he tagged the vehicle and checked mileage..why would you charge me for an inspection when you know (based on what you said to me) I would fail regardless due to the service engine light? That's bad business practice in my opinion. Also, Eric told me I would need to have my engine replaced and all these others things that would cost who knows how much..way more than the car is even worth...so I pretty much told him to not do any work. So in short I essentially had to pay $125 for them to tell me what I already knew (that my engine was knocking) and $21 for an "inspection"that failed because the service engine light was on..something I mentioned multiple times prior to bringing the car in. Long story short, I got out of bed to throw free money at your establishment for absolutely nothing.Eric did nothing to help with cost or advice. Not that he is obligated to but you would think during these trying times where hours are cut at work due to Covid and me being a brand new customer...new resident of Albany at that ..that I would have recieved a better experience but I unfortunately didn't and I will not be back nor would I recommend anyone to your location. I will now take the risk and drive my vehicle to another location with better service. You not only lost a new customer but you lost a potential car sale as I mentioned a few times that I was getting rid of the car anyway to purchase something new so it did not make sense to spend over $5k for service. More

I had 3 tasks- oil change, inspection, and a backup camera recall. These were all dealt with successfully within 90-120 minutes. I was notified by phone and text when car was ready. Never have I had such a terrible experience with a dealership. A week prior I had gone into Destination to lease my new car, since I have been driving a 17’ Rogue from them and was ready to lease my n dealership. We had agreed on a price and downpayment and now they had to locate the car. The following Tuesday I was told my car had been located but they were waiting on paperwork to be mailed over since the dealer they got it from had not sent the paperwork for me to pick it up on my days off. I had informed Joe I worked the rest of the week, but I could be in on Thursday around 11 before work but needed to be out of there by 1230pm so I would not be late to work. That morning I called Joe again to inform him what time I needed to be out of the office and what time I would be there, he assured me it was just paperwork I needed to sign and it would be out quick. I walked in around 1130am to sign papers and before my salesman Joe could come over, I was approached by one of the managers Corey who did not introduce himself, I had to get his name afterwards. Corey came to inform me that my new car that had been sitting for 2 days prior that all the payments we agreed on would be going up $30 a month cause they found me a more expensive car. I had not asked for that and I had asked why I wasn’t informed of this prior his excuse was he hadn’t been at work the day prior. Was no one working the 2 days prior to call me at all instead of blindsiding me? Joe had called to tell me he had the car, why wasn’t this brought up to me then. If that what’s they chose to do that should not Have been my problem and asked if he could take the extra money off then for the maintenance package which added $13 on to my original agreed lease. Instead he took off a small amount of $4, that was nothing but a slap in the face. After many more minutes of being on phone calls and then being rushed and pressured I had agreed on signing papers and have regretted it ever since. I should’ve walked off the lot and never looked back. I was at the dealer for so long that it resulted in me being late to work on top of it all. I had spoken to Joe later in the day and he mentioned he had told the general manager Beau Mayhew about it and for me to email him and that he wanted to work with me. I wrote an email that night, a week ago now and have heard nothing from anyone at this location. I have never had such poor customer service from here. I used to recommend family and friends to come here for their future cars and now I will tell them to avoid this place. When this lease is up Destination Nissan will never again get my business again. More
