Found a vehicle I wanted on Marketplace. Was told vehicles were selling fast so I drove the hour to get there. Had to take my wife to the airport and told them I would leave a deposit and be back in three hours. Was told they don't hold vehicles. After a slightly heated exchange about this, I told them to go ahead and sell it because this was no way to treat a customer. As I was walking out the door, the manager said wait, shook my hand and said the vehicle was mine. Drove back through seven inches of snow to complete the deal. Saw the vehicle in the parking lot with the headlights on when I arrived five minutes later than I told them. Was told upon entry that they had sold the vehicle to someone else...sorry! No phone call to tell me it was sold, nothing. Trey lied through his teeth and said he never told me he would hold the vehicle because they don't do that. Another manager confirmed this, but that is not what Trey told me because he wanted the sale. What a horrible way to run a business! Went next door and bought a nicer one. Well after we bought 2 vehicles from this dealership. We traded one brand new car in which was paid off. Fast forward 6 months. 16k miles on new vehicle all the lights in the dash light up. Not concerned when I took it in for oil change. No traction control or any driving safety features will work. Still haven’t gotten scheduled appt to get said safety features fixed should have given me a loaner and gotten my vehicle in to be repaired under warranty. First red flag. I live in Iowa it snows roads are slick. Opted for for this vehicle for the safety features. Traction control vehicle stability. Lol nope not today. Or ever again. Most unscrupulous dealership I’ve ever done business with absolutely biggest crock of disappointment ever. I actually liked a couple employees here and now that I know what’s really happening here there will be nothing good said about any Dewey dealership from me. xxxx poor management xxxx pour business ethics and a xxxx of a bad show of valuing returning customers. I hope someday they realize how good of customers we really would have been. Never judge a book by its cover or credit report cause In the big picture you only see what people want you to see.
