Scott was very friendly, offered us coffee, explained in detail what his job was and what he wanted to accomplish for us if possible. I would say as far as experience is concerned he is top of the line and detail what his job was and what he wanted to accomplish for us if possible. I would say as far as experience is concerned he is top of the line and I have been around for 77 years with 30 years in the armed services, so have a good idea as to a persons skills and leadership. The price he quoted for the Honda Odyssey was $2000.00 under suggested retail, so we were very pleased but the loan at 1.9 interest was a big suprise and was the only reason we could afford that big a price with any degree of confidence and comfort. After tha purchase was accomplished Mr Doyle informed us that he was available at any time for any additional help that we needed to include how to drive and take advantage of the many different options on the car, and in fact went over the different options as I was sitting in the car trying absorb it all. Thank You Dick Hannah for employing Scott Doyle who has such a high knowledge of the Honda cars and expertize dealing with public. Ron and Ann Winter More
I found Dick Hannah online and submitted a loan application for pre-approval and received a call from Dave within minutes. Dave was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. My credit application for pre-approval and received a call from Dave within minutes. Dave was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. My credit isnt the best and I feel like Dave went above and beyond to make something work. I didn't like my first option and Dave was more than willing to find another option for me. I ended up finding an amazing car at an amazing price and so far I love it. Dave was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be referring friends, family and acquaintances to Dick Hannah Honda. My wife and I had been looking to purchase a new vehicle for some time. After months of research and talking to various dealers, we were attracted to Dick Hannah Honda, as they promised a hassle free buyin for some time. After months of research and talking to various dealers, we were attracted to Dick Hannah Honda, as they promised a hassle free buying experience. We understood that this most likely meant that we would pay a higher price than we could get by haggling with other dealers; however, the value of keeping one's sanity is worth a little bit extra. Before going to the dealership, my wife and I secured a pre-qualification from a local bank so that we would not have to worry about obtaining financing from the dealership. Upon arriving at the dealership, we were informed that the vehicle we were looking to purchase had been sold that morning. We were in no rush to purchase a vehicle that day and the sales representative Chris informed us that we could order the vehicle that we wanted through the dealership. We agreed and proceeded to the next step, which involved the dealership providing a value for our trade in. Understanding that this would be a crucial component of the deal, I had spent significant time researching the trade-in value of our vehicle, through multiple sources. The sales representative had us sit in chairs, in front of the fish bowl, while the sale manager Nick performed the valuation of our car. After 15 - 20 minutes, our sales representative returned with an offer sheet for a car that matched what we were looking for that he said they could get from another dealership; although, it was more expensive than what was advertised by Dick Hannah. In addition, the dealership had added $2,000 of options to the price. When asked what the options were, we were advised that some of the $2,000 was the price of the 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty. This was quite a shock as on the dealerships advertisements, it looked like this was free. In addition, the price of the one option that we did want was supposedly $300 higher because the dealership was having to get the car from another dealership. To make matters worse, as I perused the offer sheet, I saw that Dick Hannah had provided a low ball offer on our trade-in (nearly $2,000 below the KBB price and what other dealerships in the area had offered). When we told the sales representative that the trade-in value was too low, he said that he would speak with Nick, the sales manager, but before he did, he asked us to look at the payment box on the right of the offer sheet and to let him know what payment worked best for us. As I had advised him earlier, we already had financing in place and would not need the dealership to obtain that for us. We waited another 20 minutes while Chris disappeared and eventually returned with Nick. Clearly they were getting ready for a little good cop (Chris) bad cop (Nick) routine. Nick, in a very condescending tone, began by telling us that our car wasn't really worth what we thought it was, although, he was willing to pay us $1,000 higher than what he had originally offered. While that trade-in value was still low and Nick's manner unpleasant, we foolishly still considered purchasing the vehicle in order to avoid the hassle of going to another dealership. Nick's next words quickly distinguished any thought of purchasing any vehicle from Dick Hannah. He advised us that he couldn't control what another dealership was charging and when we asked if we could just order the car we want through the dealership he said no, the car that we wanted was in such high demand that they rarely ever have any. At this point, there was no doubt in my mind that he was lying as I had been watching their dealership for months and had seen that exact car come through no less than 30 times. Seething with anger, my wife and I left the dealership and drove south to another dealership. Upon arriving at that dealership, we were given a fair trade in value (quite a bit higher than Nick offered) and they had the car (with several more options) for less than what Dick Hannah was selling the other car for, and were treated with kindness and respect. When Dick Hannah says that it is a hassle free experience, they are right. As long as you are willing to pay a higher price, receive a lower value on a trade-in, and get pushed into bad financing. I will never go to Dick Hannah again and have been advising everyone I know to stay away from them. There are too many options in this area to have to settle for a terrible one. More
I keep going back for the tires. .so i bought a 2006 Honda new and started off ok, but it went down hill from the start. They say you must get every service at the dealer to get the tires for life or an Honda new and started off ok, but it went down hill from the start. They say you must get every service at the dealer to get the tires for life or any warranty for that matter. So i did every service they wanted till the 300 dollar inspection. At this point i gave the dealer what for and only had them perform basic maintenance. Till now, that is... i went in with my 2009 matrix i bought from them. I even had a 8.88 dollar coupon for the basic oil change. I said i just need an oil change and they said ok 99.99 for the service. I gave the dealer8.88 coupon and went to wait. Got back to pay a t they wanted 108.99 they took off ok15 for the coupon and i had 8 on my rewards card out the door it was 93.49... arguing is pointless with them but a review lets everyone know. Sadly i will go back again since tires even it all out. Bottom line just stay away in general. More
We bought a new car over the course of 2 days. My husband worked with Dave Sanford the first day and looked at a new Honda Civic. Dave was very honest and informative without making you feel pressured to make a purchase that day. The next day I returned with my husband and were assisted by Peter(forgot Peter's last name, sorry Peter)who filled in for Dave because he was busy. Peter was very knowledgable and honest when dealing with us. We had a great time with Peter test driving and didn't feel pressured at all. Dave and Peter worked together to help us purchase the vehicle and helped with setting up my iPhone to bluetooth. We would highly recommend either one of these salesman if you are looking to purchase a car. More
Very happy with my purchase. I brought the car in for a recall notice. They were very quick to get me processed so I could get on my way. The car was ready before expected and was fully washed when I pic recall notice. They were very quick to get me processed so I could get on my way. The car was ready before expected and was fully washed when I picked it up. My only complaint is the prices quoted for the air and cabin filters that were dirty (standard dealer pricing). Overall, I will continue to work with the dealer on future purchases. They have a great selection and very fair pricing their vehicles. More
NEGATIVE REVIEW for Dick Hannah HONDA. SUMMARY: My Dick Hannah HONDA Experience -- In less than 5 years this dealership has gone from one that offers the absolutely best deals to one that lied over the pho Hannah HONDA Experience -- In less than 5 years this dealership has gone from one that offers the absolutely best deals to one that lied over the phone in attempt to bait and switch. This is why I rated my Overall Experience “Very Bad”. Here is my story, which I hope will help you deal with Dick Hannah Honda. Five years ago, we bought a new 2007 Accord VP (auto) for $16.3K at Dick Hannah Honda. That was the absolutely best deal at the time. This year, when we were looking for a new car, Dick Hannah Honda was the first dealership we contacted. Unfortunately our salesman, Saeed Anwar, left the dealership, and the people there now were different and did not accept my offer ($19K) for a new basic 2012 Accord (auto). Then, out of the blue, I got a phone call from “Dave” at Dick Hannah Honda. “Dave” asked me whether or not I liked my previous car (which we like), and told me that he has a new 2012 Accord (auto) for the price I am ready to pay ($19K). OK, I said, I’ll be back in town at the end of the April, and I will come. At the end of the month, he called me again asking whether I will come or not; I said yes. Finally, on April 28th, I called him back and came in an hour or so after my call. Well, the car that I came for did not exist. Instead there was a basic model of 2012 Accord (auto) priced way higher than 19K or even my best quotes from other Honda dealerships (each below $19.4K). This is why I rated Price “Very Bad”. I would expect such a twist from any other dealership (no offense), besides Dick Hannah Honda. Moreover, I was so sure that “Dave” was honest, I brought my wife “to buy a new Honda Accord” with me. Then I met “Dave’s Manager” (this guy has never gave me his card). “David’s Manager” said that he can not do anything to meet my expectations. Well, I knew that at that time Honda Motors ran a $1.3K manufacturer-to-dealer cash back – so at least he had the room to fix the problem. This is why I rated Friendliness “Very Bad”. I believe that “Dave” lied to me from the beginning to bring me to the dealership. I do not know how he got my phone number and how such an idea came to his mind, but that was what he did, and that was what his “manager” considered normal. The next day, I asked Dick Hannah Honda to provide me with the names and positions of these two individuals; they never responded, which I translate as a further approval of these actions. Again, this is why I rated both “Customer Service” and “Overall experience” with this dealership as “Very Bad”. Well, we decided to NEVER AGAIN buy from Dick Hannah Honda, which hires and protects people like that. We also decided not to buy our next car from Honda Motors, who stands behind these guys. So, we did both. We’ve just bought a new 2012 Legacy (auto CVT, pziv) from Dick Hannah Subaru for $18.75K – thanks to Ammar, his boss, and Costco’s Auto Program. That was the best deal we could find, and we are happy with this purchase, which took 1 day from our first visit of the dealership. We’ll likely be shopping for a new car in 2-5 years. We will bring our money and will be looking for the best deal for the car we want. Will Dick Hannah or Honda Motors earn this money? I do not know. What I know – Dick Hannah Honda will not. Now it is up to Honda Motors and Dick Hannah to decide whether or not this story reflects their standards of service and is a signature of Honda’s dealership of 21st Century. I hope my review will help to those of you who are still deciding where to go, what to buy, and how much to pay. Maybe it will help Dick Hannah finally find time to respond with explanations and with the names of these two employees of its Honda dealership. PS when posting my Review I found that “Dave’s Manager” was Mr. Noah Rodeman. PPS the next day after I posted this Review first time and emailed it to Dick Hannah Honda someone called me with apologies. However, I have requested a written explanation. Why? Because “Dave”, when I came to Dick Hannah Honda for a car, denied enthusiastically that he promised me a car over the phone. More
