DICK HUVAERE is the worst company ever they are trying to make me pay money for a rental that they said they would cover. My car has been In there possession since June. They are holding my vehicle hostage until I pay this rental bill that the said they would cover. They never diagnosed my car correctly. The vehicle sat in there possession for months with no results. GO TO DICK HUVAERE IF YOU FEEL LIKE BEING TREATED WITH DISRESPECT AND CHARGED FOR SERVICES THAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD COVER AND NO WORK BEING PERFORMED TO THE VEHICLE. ALSO NO WARRANTY BECAUSE IT EXPIRED IN THE POSSESSION. HORRIBLE!!!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! More
Took my 2010 jeep liberty for repairs to Dick Huvaere Chrysler, jeep, dodge dealership in Richmond, Michigan. One of the issues was that the shifter lever on the transmission seized up. Prior to this Chrysler, jeep, dodge dealership in Richmond, Michigan. One of the issues was that the shifter lever on the transmission seized up. Prior to this the transmission shifted normal. They replaced the transmission valve body. Now the transmission doesn't want to shift on it's own. The rpm gauge goes to 3000 plus rpms and to get the transmission to shift into the next gear you have to take your foot off of the accelerator for about 10 to 15 seconds. The transmission then shifts into the next gear and you can then push down on the accelerator pedal again and continue driving. Every time you come to a stop you have to repeat the process. I was told by the service advisor Aldo Therqaj that the tech said that this is normal and the tech has a jeep liberty and his does the exact thing & the transmission is all electronic and there's no way to adjust the shift points. They had it for 4 months. I picked it up and brought it back again. This time they had it for 2 weeks. Said the tech plugged in a program to re learn the transmission & everything is good now. I picked it up again and still isn't shifting right. Took it back a 3rd time and spoke to the service manager David Frost. He assured me that he would take care of it. They had it for a week this time and nothing has changed. Still doesn't shift right. Service manager said that there's no codes set or stored therefore every thing with the transmission is normal. I don't remember the exact words he used but it was something along the lines that what do you care . You have the lifetime warranty on the jeep so if the transmission fails then just bring it back. They also took the dash apart to replace the heater core. Since then while driving on dirt roads you can hear plastic rattling coming from under the dash. They tried blaming the problem on the jeep being old and the passenger front fender being damaged. Even though the noise didn't start until they took the dash apart. I'm not trying to get something for nothing but they got paid to repair the jeep & they didn't repair it correctly and refuse to fix it correctly. I like Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep products but I'll never buy another one if this is the way they treat their customers. Just a heads up.....make up your own mind but just remember I told you so. More

Service department is horrible at keeping you updated on your vehicle. Michelle is especially lacking customer service traits. whenever you try to call for an update, there’s no one available to answer the your vehicle. i had my second seat heater go bad (was not the same seat) took 3 weeks to get appointment just before appointment added an oil change, tire rotation,and paid for a brake inspection sat in the lounge fo seat) took 3 weeks to get appointment just before appointment added an oil change, tire rotation,and paid for a brake inspection sat in the lounge for six hours than i was told they did not have seat part ,brakes were good but oil change was not done in fairness they rushed an oil change but no tire rotation said i would get a call when part came in and set up appointment this never happened after two weeks i called they said they would check into it the next day get a call from parts i can pick up my part anytime explained this was an extended warranty issue so they put me to service and they would need to have the car for 2 days the day of service i had a 2:30 appointment for the drop off but could not get a ride that late so called back and asked to drop it off earlier first response was no than after a bit of negotiating they said bring it (there was not one car in the service check in when i got there at 11am talked with Edward said they might get it done by 6 called them back at 5 not done but assigned this time woman said call back in the morning around 10 should be done they start at 7 am no call back called back at 3 said it would be done by 5 but would call if it was earlier again no call back .It is fixed and i am grateful but my time is precious I hope that the managers can help the employees to do a better job in the future (especially if they had 3 weeks to make sure they would have a part in stock to fix the original problem) i am sure the part is a common fix More

Bought a used Jeep for my daughter and was sold extended warrant that comes with "free" rental and they waive the deductible. Now the Jeep looses power while driving so the car needs to get to the dealershi warrant that comes with "free" rental and they waive the deductible. Now the Jeep looses power while driving so the car needs to get to the dealership for repair. The Dealership can't look at the car for 5 days minimum and then says could be another week or two for repair. They have no rentals available and not sure when they will have one. When you go online to schedule an appt. you can't even get one for a few weeks. DO NOT buy any of their extended products as they won't be able to honor them. It's a shame because the car buying experience was decent but the service side is full of excuses why they can't fix your car or get you a rental. Also, when they tell you they will waive the $200 deductible that comes with the warranty, keep in mind they won't get your car in and fixed for a month and no rentals. More
