Best Service Ever! They truely care, don't go anywhere else. It is very rare that I send correspondence such as this but rarely do I experience such attention which I received on Saturday, 10 Nov 2018 at Dick Sc It is very rare that I send correspondence such as this but rarely do I experience such attention which I received on Saturday, 10 Nov 2018 at Dick Scott Motor Mall. My wife and I were on our last leg of our twice a year trip to Michigan from Massachusetts when my check engine light came on my 2012 Dodge Ram and also experienced a vibration. We were within 45 minutes of arriving at our destination when the light came on. May not seem like a big deal to most but we plan well ahead for our trips including having my truck serviced at my local Dodge dealer in Massachusetts prior to leaving for our 1600 mile round trip so it was a bit surprising to be experiencing problems with my truck. It was also concerning because we had to make the 800 mile trip back to MA. Westbound on I-96 my wife found your dealership on line, we were just a few exits away and called your service department. This was shortly after noon and you were closing in less than 3 hours. I spoke with your service manager, Mr Scott Combs, and explained my situation, he told me to bring in my truck right in to take a look. Mind you my truck is packed with hunting gear, personal belongings, me my wife and our two small dogs. As soon as I pulled in Mr Combs proceeded to connect to my truck to determine what, if any, code was present. Once he had the data he then went to speak with a technician who was no doubt engaged with servicing someone elses vehicle in the service bay. Both of these gentlemen took the time to explain what they believed could be causing the warning light and vibration I was experiencing. My biggest concern was to know if the engine or components could be damaged if I proceeded to my destination before it could be thoroughly checked. The technician told me that the code indicated that the #5 cylinder plug(s) were misfiring and proceeding to my home would probably be ok but not to accelerate heavily. Under other circumstances I would have left my vehicle for next available time to be thoroughly checked but my truck was packed. Would have bee extremely difficult for us to make this work any other way. It is now Monday, 12 Nov, the day after Veteran's day and I'm writing this as I wait for your outstanding service team to check out my vehicle. Your team was flexible and demonstrated their desire to make me comfortable with my situation. I can' t thank Scott and the technician enough for their genuine sincereity. My best friend's wife bought her Jeep from your dealership and after explaining to him what happened he did mention that there were possibly closer Dodge dealers near Laingsburg. I told him that after what we experienced on Saturday that I wouldn't be going anywhere but to Dick Scott's. After arriving at our destination and unloading I returned on Monday to have the problem fully diagnosed. While waiting I was feeling quite comfortable knowing I was getting not only professional service but by people who really do care for their customers. I didn't get the name of the technician but Mr Combs knows who he is. Please pass on my deepest gratitude for their refreshing and noteworthy service and care they provided to me and my wife. I will always remember that day and highly recommend your dealership to anyone. Obviously if I ever need service on my Dodge Ram in the future I will go out of my way to have it serviced at Dick Scott's! Thank you so much. Sincerely, Frank Perry Quick update: Parts were to replace the cam shaft and lifters, some parts were back ordered. Scott Combs called me the day before Thanksgiving and told me that they were still waiting for the back ordered parts. We had to return home and left for MA the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Tough ride back because I could not accelerate heavily or it would misfire. A week after returning my dealership was able to get me in. They didn't have all the parts either. By that time the parts ordered by Scott Combs came in, Dick Scott Motor Mall then worked with the MA dealership to get those parts in their hands. Dick Scott's team stayed true to form even after I had left MI. Are you kidding me, who does that? Scott Combs at Dick Scott's does, that's who. Thank you Scott! Hope you got your deer. My truck has sinced been repaired, they replaced cam shaft, lifters and all associated parts. More

Excellent Service! I went there to get the tailgate recall fixed but a week or so ago was told that the truck would need about 4 hours worth of software upgrades. The young man working did everything for me in under 1 hour for me. So happy! Didn't have to come back and leave it with them. Not many do this. More
