Traded in a vehicle I decided to look into trading my 2013 Ford Escape due to high mileage and trade-in value. I stopped into the Waikem Subaru on a Saturday morning to take a look at a Subaru Forrester. I met a gentleman by the name of Rick Ballas who was very kind to work with. He let me test drive a couple different models and when I test drove the Forrester I fell in love. Rick was very informative and knew a lot about the interior and exterior features that are equipped on these mid size SUV's. He also mentioned that he drove one himself which made me feel good about this vehicle. He was not pushy and really made me feel comfortable reviewing my options of trading in my Ford. Honestly, I felt like Rick was genuine and forth right to work with. I have met other salesmen in other dealerships and I felt like I was just a number. You can tell when someone is just working to make commission on your sale versus someone who is trying to do their best for YOU as a customer. I felt Rick was very honest and open and honestly I enjoyed working with him! He made me laugh at times with his funny stories and smile. Rick was great and I felt that he did the best he could to get me the best value possible on my trade and purchase... along with the manager making the final decision whom I appreciated meeting also. Waikem Subaru should be proud to have someone like Rick representing this dealership. Thank you for making my experience in purchasing a new vehicle very great! More

Birthday-New Car Lease It was my Birthday, and for a few weeks before, I went everywhere looking to trade in my 2011 Subaru Forester to get into a lease instead of buy to ow It was my Birthday, and for a few weeks before, I went everywhere looking to trade in my 2011 Subaru Forester to get into a lease instead of buy to own..Finally I contacted Rick Ballas whom I purchased a Ford Escape lease and my Subaru years ago..I came in on my Birthday and he surprisingly worked out a deal with me on a 2018 Subaru Forester lease with a trade in of my 2011 Forester..I was supposed to buy my new license plate stickers that day, so it saved me from spending money on that, plus I got a great vehicle in place of mine.. Consistancy I have just purchased you third Subaru for Rick Speith at Waikem. My first one was 2010. I traded a big SUV for a Forester. Living in Loudonville t I have just purchased you third Subaru for Rick Speith at Waikem. My first one was 2010. I traded a big SUV for a Forester. Living in Loudonville the AWD was a must. I also have an infirm husband who is in a wheelchair. The car is not too tall and not too low just right. The buying experience for me was always something to dread. There are so many horror story about car salesmen.. Not at Waikem and not Rick Speith. He believes in his product and is a happy employee of an honorable family business. I will purchase my next Subaru here when the time come. Great car and greater people! More

All aspects of the car buying process were seamless. My salesperson, Erik Bettinger, was very knowledgeable and showed me a number of vehicles before I settled on the perfect choice. I had decisions to make regarding whether to finance or not and whether to trade in a car or not. Erik provided me with all of the pertinent information I needed so that I was able to make an informed decision. My closing transaction was handled with lots of energy by the finance manager as well. Each interaction I've had with the dealership has been positive and I highly recommend them to others. This is the second new Subaru my household has purchased from Waikem and Erik in the past 12 months. If that doesn't express customer satisfaction, I don't know what does! More

After 5 hours of debating different cars, and finally finding the right one, Rick Ballas got us through the paperwork quickly and showed us all the features of the car so we could be on our way. Overall it was a very good experience but it would've been nice to know from the start that any sports car is out of the question for a first time lease at my age. More
