Worst car buying experience ever! First off I'll say that buying a new car/truck should be fun. Having said that this was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. My wife and First off I'll say that buying a new car/truck should be fun. Having said that this was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. My wife and I dealt with Eric Hughes. When doing the final paperwork we asked for a full tank of gas, which is not uncommon when buying a new vehicle. He finally agreed to that after rolling his eyes with a dirty look on his face, along with making fun of my trade in. Once it was all said and done, our truck was not detailed nor was it even washed when we were ready to go. Not even a week later the check engine light comes on. We call Eric to see what we are able to do about this since we've only had it for a week; he says that Dier's cannot be liable for this. I understand if this issue happened a month after owning the vehicle, but less then a week later that I ridiculous! After further talking they sent a check, but did not cover the full amount for the service and repairs. After getting the part replaced that still did not get rid of the check engine light, further digging deeper into it we find out it's the engine. It's good to know we spent over 20k on a vehicle and it doesn't get detailed or properly serviced for that matter, and to think they made fun of my 20 year old Jeep that had over 188k miles on and still didn't have a check engine light on it or any issues with it for that matter. After having this vehicle for over a month now we have already spent $100 to get it properly detailed, which the dealership failed to do and another $300 for parts/labor and further diagnostics. Long story short the expenses keep adding up. We will be purchasing a new car for my wife within the next year; needless to say we will not be going to Dier's Ford Fremont. That is why I am giving them a one star rating, only because 0 was not an option. More
Worth the Drive to Fremont I hate purchasing vehicles but dealing with Daryl Watson and the management behind him at Diers Ford on a new vehicle purchase was refreshing. I foun I hate purchasing vehicles but dealing with Daryl Watson and the management behind him at Diers Ford on a new vehicle purchase was refreshing. I found Daryl and the Diers team to be straightforward, honest, and willing to entertain information substantiating negotiation points. The folks who cleaned up the new vehicle as well as the folks who served the vehicle protection discussion function and financing function each did an outstanding job in completing their work in a short period of time once a deal was reached. Service Service Service Had both my vehicles serviced last week. Both were done on time and professionally. Waiting room with my granddaughter was enjoyable. Mike Coffman, Had both my vehicles serviced last week. Both were done on time and professionally. Waiting room with my granddaughter was enjoyable. Mike Coffman, Jan (not sure of her last niame) and Charlie Diers stopped to make sure everything was okay and if I needed anything. Car/pickup was washed and vacuumed. Talked to Brandon Johnson too. He is a friend of my son's and have known him for his whole life. Great addition to Diers. More

Buyer Beware - Caution to Used Vehicle Buyers This local dealership has seen the First and Last of my business. If only I'd have heeded the word of mouth warnings of several others regarding a us This local dealership has seen the First and Last of my business. If only I'd have heeded the word of mouth warnings of several others regarding a used car purchase from Dier's Ford I could have avoided the many $$, worries, and multiple phone calls/attempts at resolving the first of two major issues within 6 months of purchase of this 2007 car with 65,176 miles. Before I continue, KUDOS to George Medina in the Service department as he has been the only one in this disgust that has shown GENUINE concern, care, and INTEGRITY to me! He has done his best at being the liaison between me, the used car customer and the shop with an issue that yet, is not fully confirmed as being resolved. The SECOND major issue was pretty much diagnosed over the phone in a call to my local mechanic when my steering FULLY and completely locked up turning a corner. Extremely dangerous and scary! Next day resulted in the car being towed in to my local mechanic, a forced vacation day as I work out of town and had no other vehicle, and a new rack and pinon to make the car drivable. To date with this used car purchase from Diers, in addition to my used car loan, the repair bills have now added an additional $2200.00 in expenses. I don't know of many that can, would, or should have to withstand two separate repair bills of $1000.00+ each for car repairs within 1 month of each other - all within 6 months of the vehicle purchase. At the recent advice of my local bank lender I requested back from Dier's the remaining balance on my loan in order to pay it off and begin used car shopping once again. The dealership would not. This last week has been nothing but the runaround...attempts to drive a used vehicle of interest (at Dier's), similar in year and miles, as consideration to their resolution. The vehicle, of which I had expressed extreme interest in, had recently come in according to the salesman but was not through inspections yet so it was not yet available to drive. So specific arrangements were made with him for my driving it on Wednesday of this past week only to receive a phone call the afternoon of my 5 pm appointment that they had loaned it to a Priest to use and it would not be returned until the following day because he had taken it out of town to a funeral. Answer I received from my salesman to my many questions regarding the scenario - "it was miscommunication in the shop". Furthermore they have it listed on the website for MUCH more money so I never stood a chance at their taking care of me, their customer, to begin with. NO THANK YOU!!!!, to my salesman and Charlie Diers Ford Lincoln Mercury - Fremont, NE. More
