Wish I could give a zero. Bought the new C8 Chevy Stingray from them about 6 weeks ago. As they are in very high demand, had to pay thousands over the sticker price. But that’s ok. It’s what I agreed to and that has nothing to do with the low rating. The problem was the dealership and their insistence that I “finance” it through them. Abe was the original F&I person I dealt with and he was very bad at his job. Couldn’t get anything right. I was trading in a 2018 C7 that was free and clear and I wanted to just write a check for the difference. They said they couldn’t honor the deal if I didn’t finance it. I told them I intended to pay it off as soon as I got the loan information so it didn’t make any sense to me why they would require me to go through with the financing. Especially as I figured they wouldn’t end up making any money from the loan. But whatever. However, after 4 plus weeks of calling them about who my loan had been placed with, they would never call me back and I never received a loan booklet. Finally after repeated (as in one or two messages a day for over a week), I got through the to F&I person (Haydee) that told me that she had talked to the sales manager and they were going to just do the deal as a cash deal and I could send them a check via overnight. So I did. However, I requested that she verify they received the check (it was a $60,000+ check) and that the amount was payment in full. Couldn’t get her to call or message me back. Finally after a week of this, I called and asked to talk to the Sales Manager, Bobby. He got the folk in accounting to verify that they had received the check and scan in a copy of the new “cash deal” contract so I have verification of the payment in full. Wow, just wow. They had the car I wanted and it is in very high demand so I put up with all of their hoops to get the car although ordinarily I would have walked away when they insisted on me financing it in the first place. However after 6 weeks of dealing with these folks, I can only say they acted like they had never sold a car before. And I never got anything remotely close to an apology for their lack of follow up and service. The only two folks at the dealership that at least seemed to give a reasonable amount of service was my original sales person who goes by “G” and Dan Sommers who is also Ins the finance department but had nothing to do with my deal. He did at least call me back a couple of times. I will NEVER, EVER do business with the dealership again and recommend that everyone else go somewhere else too! More
Purchased a new Chev Traverse from Dimmitt. I spent most of the day at the dealership because the vehicle had just been delivered. The vehicle was prepped as far as putting the running boards on and also th of the day at the dealership because the vehicle had just been delivered. The vehicle was prepped as far as putting the running boards on and also the luggage rack and it was detailed. I wanted the vehicle that day so I waited for the work to be done. I did not finance the vehicle but the finance person took care of all the paperwork including getting my out of state registration to me in a few short days. That to me was an important part of the sale. I had spent so much time there that my salesperson (El) took me for lunch/dinner. I would definitely consider working with this dealership again. More
This is the second time that i had an appointment and my car just sat there all day without even having a diagnostic completed. What is the point of having an appointment. Had $10,500 of work done due to accident. Took them from May to October to do the work. Lies after lies. My car has been towed back twice, electrical issues. It was towed in 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard May to October to do the work. Lies after lies. My car has been towed back twice, electrical issues. I had the pleasure of dealing with Eric at Dimmitt Chevrolet. In spite of all the horrible things going on at this time he worked really hard to find me a vehicle. I am most grateful! Had over $4000 worth of work done on my vehicle, including new tires. When vehicle was returned, it had antifreeze down the front of the grill and bumper, and the brake fluid was overfill. One of the new tires developed a huge orange sized bubble in the sidewall the same day I picked it up. On closer inspection I noticed the tires were a few weeks over two years old. I told them I expected tires less than a year old, or they should have at least told me they were over a year old so I could decide if I wanted two year old tires. They said too bad, they would not get me newer tires, or my money back. They even said the tires could be over 3 years old and they are still considered "new". When I went in to get the tire with the bulge replaced, with an appointment, it took them 4 1/2 hours to replace 1 tire, them before I drove off I noticed that the hubcap was barely hanging on and would have fallen off very soon. Then, I just tried to get the supposed rebate that was available on the tires, and the manufacturer says it expired last month, but I have a printed quote from the dealer with this month's date on it, but they can't help me. More
Took vehicle on due to an oil pressure alert. The service advisory took 2 day to inform me that I voided my warranty by using valvoline to change the oil. Horrible customer service. Service Department will rip you off. They charged us $300 just for a diagnostic & "shop fees" then held our truck hostage until we paid it.
