Then I had to wait another 30 min for the shuttle. Seems like nobody took responsibility for it. I also gave them my number but they kept calling my husband instead to say the car was ready later that day. Very disappointed with the experience More

I brought my 2019 Tahoe to Dimmitt Chevrolet for a major engine repair (lifter replacement). While the engine work was completed, the vehicle was returned to me with a completely non-functioning AC system t engine repair (lifter replacement). While the engine work was completed, the vehicle was returned to me with a completely non-functioning AC system that was blowing hot air the exact moment I picked it up. The AC worked flawlessly prior to dropping the vehicle off. When I raised this issue, the service department completely dismissed me and explicitly lied, claiming that the AC system 'is never touched' during a lifter replacement. According to GM service procedures for this V8 engine, the AC compressor bracket is bolted directly to the passenger-side cylinder head that must be removed for this job, and the AC lines run directly across the top engine workspace. The technician clearly damaged a line, left a wiring harness unplugged, or compromised the system during the extensive engine tear-down. I am completely dissatisfied not only with the incidental damage caused to my vehicle, but with the blatant dishonesty from the service staff trying to deflect blame. I am requesting immediate contact from the Service Director or General Manager to resolve this damage." When they first did a lifter job, they sent it back to me. And it was running horribly, it had the engine lights on the first time. I went to go pick it up and I actually couldn't take the vehicle because they didn't have it repaired. So they said they fixed it, I came back to get it. I picked it up, took it home, running like total trash. It sounded horrible. It had a really bad smell coming out of it. Take it back. They said they have fixed it, but it still isn't running properly and I don't like the sound that the engine is making still has this clicking. And my gas mileage has gone down considerably. My gas mileage right now is 10 miles per gallon. That's an issue before. I brought the vehicle in my average gas mileage. In the city was about 15 or 16. And my average highway gas mileage was between twenty two and twenty five. I'm at the point where I am considering taking it to a completely different chevy, dealership, to have them reevaluate the work that you guys have done, because I am not trusting my vehicle right now.I don't like the way it sounds. And the service technician told me that there's no way that the air conditioner could have been moved or touched or anything. And after doing some research and educating myself, finding that there's extremely high likelihood that the mechanics damage something when they were doing the lifter job More
I walked in with very little expectation and some interest. Todd found me exactly what I wanted and he made it happen for me, but I also did not feel any pressure to buy and I appreciate that the who interest.
