Poor customer service On May 21, 2014 I stopped in at Dimmitt Chevrolet used car sales. I had seen a 2005 Ford Expedition on line at autotrader.com. I had called ahead to m On May 21, 2014 I stopped in at Dimmitt Chevrolet used car sales. I had seen a 2005 Ford Expedition on line at autotrader.com. I had called ahead to make sure the vehicle was available and was told by Mary Ellen it was and ask for her when I arrive and she would put me with a sales specialist. When I arrived I was put with David Soby. A nice man who took me out to the vehicle. It had recently been received on the lot and had not been serviced yet. I took it for a drive and liked it. I pointed out some concerns like tires, brakes, paint and I was told that the service department would check out the entire vehicle. David and I talked price and he went to the manager several times and we finally agreed on a price. I still had concerns but was told that they would check out the vehicle before I picked it up the next day. I was also hesitate because I was leaving town the Friday morning. I made the deal and bought the Ford as/is knowing they would run it through the service department. I pick up the truck on Thursday evening. It looked new. I left town Friday morning going to S.C. As I headed up I75 is when I realized I had an A/C problem. When I returned on Tuesday I texted David to see if they could help me out. The extended warranty was not activated and I also found out it would not take care of my issue. So I texted David and told I guess I was screwed. His reply was "sorry". So now I have a truck less than a week and I have to put it in the shop. I will not refer family, friends, coworkers or enemies to this dealership. Went for Service Work and Bought New Car I purchased my 2012 Malibu new from Dimmitt and have had all service done here which has always been done quickly and correctly first time. Got a great deal and will be taking this car back to Dimmitt for all service. Since the service being done was under warranty the questions regarding quotes and price paid do not apply. More

Extra special service I bought a Chevette Traverse from Dimmitt Chevette. Chris Neumann was my salesmen and did an excellent job of making the buying process seamless. Chris did several things that made my car buying experience comfortable. First, Chris helped my wife and I find the right vehicle for our needs. In this case it was a Traverse that can carry ALL 6 of my grandkids as well as my wife and I. Secondly, he made sure that I received a refund of my unused extended warranty for my used car. He even called the other dealership to make sure I received that refund. Third, he made me aware of the fact that it's a good idea to present evidence of what my credit union could finance my purchase for so that I could get the best loan percentage. Fourth, Chris understood that my wife hates car shopping so he had her actively involved in the selection of the vehicle but had me do the financial and technical part of the process.
