I purchased 2 vehicles from Nissan of Shelby in 2017 when they were just a trailer in the middle of a parking lot and had the best customer service. The folks that were there went above and beyond. My visit this past weekend was a joke compared to 4 years ago. I moved to SC and still wanted to give them a try. Drove over an hour for an appointment that apparently shouldn’t have been made due to them closing for Covid cleaning (which I completely understand), the person that needed to appraise my car had already left, and only 1 of the cars that I was interested in was on the lot. The other cars were not even on the lot yet! When I made the appointment I was very clear about my vehicle, what I was interested in, and the fact that we live in SC. When we arrived after 3 confirmations of the appointment, we were told we couldn’t be helped and basically come back Monday or Tuesday. I was livid when we left! I called Monday to speak with a manager, Richard, and was told I would be called back ASAP with resolution. It’s Thursday and not a word from them. I read through other reviews that the dealership is under new ownership, maybe that’s the difference. It could use a lesson from its humbler days from the trailer………customer service mattered much more. More

Bought a 2015 Chevy Trax from them at the beginning of August 2021. Two weeks later had to replace the battery for $200. Had to drop another $450 because of a large coolant leak coming from the water outlet housing (which they told me they had fixed the coolant issue before giving it to me((that was a whole other issue with them messing up & not fixing what they told me they would)). Four days later my check engine light pops on & after getting it tested, I’m told my catalytic converter needs to be replaced. Very broke & frustrated at them and myself for trusting them to sell me a working car. I’m a single mother who cannot afford to keep dropping money every two weeks on a “new” car. They also told me the milage was under 100000 miles when I picked it up it was 3,000 miles over that. Not a huge deal, but still just another mess up. More

I purchased this Nissan 2021 Rogue on August 21,2021 for a birthday present to myself! I drove this car from Saturday August 21, 2021 thru Friday August 27,2021. Then on Friday August 27,2021 the Nissan of Shelby called and said there was an issue with the finance for this car and it was their mistake! I did what they asked and took the car up there and went in asked for Sterling like I was told, never mind I sat there for over 45 minutes waiting on someone to tell me what was going on. Some young girl came an asked me about my income and said they had written it down apparently wrong. Example I make $44,000.00 a year they thought it was $4,400.00 a month. I asked her is Sterling coming out. She went back in and then Charles came out, he asked me if I had $2,000.00 to put down on the car. Mind you I have already signed the contract for the car, already put a down payment down, and I have the contract with me. I told him no. He told me then you can’t keep the car and walked off. The sales man that sold me the car helped bring around my 2018 Honda Accord and I took my stuff from the Nissan. I asked what about the down payment I put down? Come back Monday August 30, 2021 and pick it up. I went back today on my lunch break and spent over 45 minutes waiting on them to give me my down payment back.. Oh, and by the way the VIN#5N1AT3BA1MC803953 has already been sold one time to me, you are buying a pre-owned car!!!! More
