It is truly impressive how bad Doggett Ford is. If I could give a "0", I would ! I bought a used car from the sales person telling me he personally checked with the service manager and the car ha If I could give a "0", I would ! I bought a used car from the sales person telling me he personally checked with the service manager and the car has no issues – except for the motor mounts. He asked if I would be OK with a slight discount to cover the cost of me changing the motor mounts. I am not OK with that. If the car is not ready to go, I am not interested. They decided to cover that cost – that should have been a given. While they are corrected that issue, I checked and there was an open recall. I asked them to check that while it was in the shop anyway. They said the flexplate would only be changed if there was and issue. She said this car did not have that issue. I drove it off the lot and 5 days later it was making a very loud noise. I took it to my mechanic and they said it needed a timing belt and it was a qt low on oil. I took it back to Doggett and they said “oh, it actually does need a new flexplate”! So they ordered that part. I also asked them to address why it was burning a qt of oil in 5 days. 4 weeks later.. they finally got the flexplate fixed and told me that I needed to drive it 500 miles before they could look at the issue of it burning oil. It was getting close to the end of the warranty period so I am not OK with driving it 500+ miles and wasting warranty time. They are trying to find something to “trade” the car for. They cant find anything that is comparable. They are taking an exorbitant amount of time to fix the issue and now all they can do is blame me for buying a car that has issues. It’s a 6 year old car. It should not be burning oil at a rate of a qt every 5 days !!! After 4 weeks of the car being in the shop, they finally were able to give me documentation on what was actually done to the car. The documentation shows that they fixed the flex plate but they have not taken any action on the diagnosis of the burning oil. Buyer Beware ! They will take every opportunity to put 100% of the blame on you for buying a car with issues. They are not responsible for anything ! They will tell you whatever they have to for the sale and it is all up to you from that point. I hope you know a LOT about cars because you cant trust them to be honest ! More

I took my Ford Explorer in because of a recall. Tim McKnight was my advisor and he was great! I was given a loaner vehicle to drive while mine was being repaired. I initially had an amazing experience with my salesperson, Phil, who is no longer with the company. I purchased a car back in June 2024. I unexpectedly received a refund check for an overpaymen salesperson, Phil, who is no longer with the company. I purchased a car back in June 2024. I unexpectedly received a refund check for an overpayment of my TTL in early December (dated 10/26/24). I deposited the check into my bank account that BOUNCED on 12/10/24. I made attempts to call the dealership accounting department, management, general management, etc. and received no response. I finally spoke with a GSM (Mark Gil) who told me the check was being mailed on 12/19/24. That GSM is no longer with the company. The check was still not received. I finally sent a chat message to the dealership on 2/14/25. Bailee Wortham responded, thinking I was in the market for a new car. Several days passed after explaining what I needed before I received a response. February 24, 2025, Anibal Hernandez (GSM) responds to assist. After several times trying to get an update, Anibal responds that the check will be mailed the week of 2/24/25. To date, March 6, 2025, I have NOT received my money. They want their money up front and on time, but lack the FUNDS, MOTIVATION, or BOTH to return your money when they owe you. DO NOT USE IF YOU EXPECT REPUTABLE FINANCIAL PRACTICES. More
