SERVICE DEPARTMENT, I RECENTLY HAD WORK DONE TO MY VEHICLE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT COVERED DUE TO "EXTREME CONDITIONS"..........PLEASE TELL ME HOW USING MY 2009 2500 WITH THE CUMMINS ENGINE PULLING A 25 FT. TRALVEL TRAILER DOWN A DIRT ROAD IS EXTREME CONDITIONS?......AFTER A 2600.00 REPAIR BILL, IT APPEARS THAT I PAID FOR 4X4 THAT I CAN NOT USE AS A 4 WHEEL DRIVE FOR FEAR OF THE SAME THING HAPPENING AGAIN, WHICH I CAN NOT AFFORD. WHEN YOU HAVE 19000 MILES ON A VEHILCE AND A PIECE OF METAL BREAKS......THAT IS CALLED A FACTORY DEFECT, UNDER ANY CONDITIONS , ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT. I WISH I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE 5 STARS BECAUSE THAT IS HOW I FEEL ABOUT THESE CROOKS. We have dealt with Ben Owings, Kathy (Parts Department, the ladies in the office, and numerous salesmen, and all the associates are well-informed and helpful. Once you purchase a vehicle, the maintenance is most crucial for proper operation and BEN OWINGS is incredibly honest and efficient. His advice is unfailing and I recommend his expertise to everyone. I was pressed for time as I was starting an out of state job on Monday. My truck had some serious issues that needed immediate attention. Even though their schedule was full, Ben Owings and his staff assur job on Monday. My truck had some serious issues that needed immediate attention. Even though their schedule was full, Ben Owings and his staff assured me that I would be able to have my repairs made and be back on the road in time. They communicated all work required and associated costs. They found and replaced a damaged part that was incorrectly installed by an out of state Dodge dealership. My hats off to Ben and his crew. I was shopping for a truck and working with another dealership who gave me a good price but was not willing to negotiate the price. I emailed Vinnie at Reno Dodge and told him the price I had and he worked with Tony to not only beat the price, but promised to deliver the vehicle to me two and a half hours away. The dealership does add a dealer-installed alarm system that they charge a lot of money for (typical strategy for dealers), but they even negotiated with me on that when I questioned it, which I really appreciated. The doc fee is unlimited in Nevada, so it was SIGNIFICANTLY (almost six times) more than it would have been in California, where it's limited to $55. Also, because it was an out-of-state purchase I still am going to have to pay a few hundred dollars for California DMV registration which I don't think I would have to pay if I bought the vehicle in California. But even with those two things, the price I ended up with beat what the other (California) dealership was willing to offer me. And again, Vinnie happily drove the vehicle right to my home. I'm VERY happy with my experience at Reno Dodge. More

My husband & I went to Reno Dodge to take paperwork in for our daughter who purchased a truck there the end of May 2012. Our experience with her salesman was less than desired. The only reason the deal was saved was because of Scott in finance. When we took the paperwork to Scott for our daughter we asked him a question about the new Durango. He immediately said, "let me get you in touch with the salesman from the other day". We said no thank you & we were going to leave. Then Scott introduced us to Larry Farrell. We were just asking a few questions about the 2012 Durango. We made it very clear that we were not interested in buying until at least January 2013. Larry said ok not a problem. He took the time to explain the options. He had us test drive the car to make sure it was what we would be looking for. He was not pushy. He proved how knowledgable he is with the Durango. When we left we told him thank you & we would possibly see him the beginning of next year. He kindly said Thank you & gave us his business card. Larry said if we have any questions at all we should not hesitate to call him. My husband and I talked as we left the dealership and as Larry had said we would love the Durango, he was right. We absolutely loved it. We discussed it for a couple of days and a few days later went back to Reno to see Larry. He promised a good deal when we were ready & he delivered. We decided not to wait to buy. If Scott had not introduced us to Larry Farrell there would have never been a car deal right now. He was exceptionally personable and just a regular person. We would recommend Larry Farrell to everyone. We trust that we would be putting people in good hands. Jonathan in finance was also very kind. Thank you! We purchased the 2012 Dodge Durango Citadel, with the hemi. It's a wonderful family car! We are very happy! More
