Upon dropping vehicle off for service I informed him of the noise I hear when starting up my Chevy after it sat overnight. It's the same info I told the lady that made my appointment. I also told him that I have videos of the noise that dated back to approximately January 2023. I informed him that the ticking/tapping noise was getting louder. When asking Trevor if he wanted the videos, he declined; arrogantly stating,"we will hear it." He repeatedly asked me "do you hear it when driving." "No," I said, "I hear it upon starting it up after sitting overnight." (That was told to him on Wednesday). My car hadn't made it back to the bay by closing of Wednesday and I was told it was because there were many other vehicles ahead of me. (So why was I scheduled for 8am on Wednesday?). On Thursday, Trevor called to tell me that the mechanic could not hear any noise upon start up or while driving my Chevy. AGAIN I told him I only hear it upon start up after sitting overnight. I also stated that I was more than sure that if it were started near where other audible work was being done(mechanic work) that it most likely would not be heard. For some reason Trevor asks me, "so you hear it without being started?" By now I'm extremely frustrated. At this point I remind him of the videos I have and he gives me his email where I can send them too. At the end of the work day on Thursday he calls to tell me that they listened to my videos and only heard background noise and no tapping or ticking from my Chevy. I cannot afford to be without transportation. I cannot go to work without my car. I say this because he gave me the option to leave it there longer. After entering my Chevy at pickup from Don Brown. I noticed my A/C was turned up to a higher fan speed, my radio station had been changed, and there was a piece of purple glitter on my passenger seat. So ... How would the mechanic hear ANY noise I described with the radio on, volume up, and A/C blower on? Yes I'm very disappointed with this experience. As I'm on a fixed income it's very important that I receive effective, timely, and thorough service, just like anyone else. Also I can't afford to keep paying service fees for poor service. My Chevy is my livelihood. It's more than just a vehicle. It has helped me tremendously in strengthening my knees and ankles and reversing the effects of arthritis in both legs and ankles. I feel taken advantage of and belittled. Also my tire pressure in all four tires stays low and I've put air in them all but the still read low. Strangely the tires ' pressure fluctuates sometimes by 4psi while driving. This fluctuation didn't occur till after took it to the service center at Don Brown and I didn't notice immediately. I'm a responsible car owner and want the items fixed properly. What good is it to pay for my extended warranty if it's not properly diagnosed and fixed? I'm not in the habit of wasting my hard earned money. Yes I'm still frustrated and upset. At this point, my faith in Don Brown service is at a low and I don't know what to do.
