I went in for an oil change and an inspection that ended up keeping me there for 5 hours. I had an appointment scheduled to go in at 9:30 but when I arrived I was told it would be about 2.5 hours because of up keeping me there for 5 hours. I had an appointment scheduled to go in at 9:30 but when I arrived I was told it would be about 2.5 hours because of vehicles that arrived before me. I was also told of a recall with some software with my vehicle but was told they would have to loo into how long that would take. I asked about a rental if it was going to take a long time to fix but was told those were for people who had 1 day + repairs to take care of. I went to the waiting room then and did not hear anything for about 2.5 hours when I was told my vehicle would be going in next. Then about 45 min to an hour later, I was given an update that my car was finally being serviced and told that they would be able to work on the recall simultaneously and that is should be about another 30 min or so. Then about another 45 min later I was given the post service rundown of all the stuff they did but told it would be about another 20-30 min while the recall stuff was wrapped up. it took another hour until I finally was able to get in my car and go home. It was an overly long day for what should have been a fairly quick oil change and what made it even worse was the lack of/inaccurate communication regarding the timeline for my day. Normally I have had such great experiences at Don Davis but this was not one of them. It makes me not want to come back for an oil change here again. More
