Mixed feelings This is my 4th purchase from Don Davis, all with Marvin Miller. He was great, as usual, however when I came to the dealership to look at a car in per This is my 4th purchase from Don Davis, all with Marvin Miller. He was great, as usual, however when I came to the dealership to look at a car in person, he had already left for the evening. I wasn't looking to speak with anyone that evening, as I knew that I would be speaking with Marvin the next day, but we were approached by Shaun, who was able to show us a Murano on the showroom floor that was already unlocked. Again, I was anticipating speaking with Marvin the next day, but Shaun wanted to check my pre-approval status for financing, so I allowed him to do so. Based on the information I provided to him, he was able to show me that I was eligible for tier 1 financing, verbally stated that I would not have to go through a credit check, and said the the interest rate should be somewhere between 2.9-3.9%. The next day in speaking with Marvin, he also said that I was pre-approved, that I was grandfathered into the program, and that I should be able to secure the lowest interest rate possible (I had 0% on the car I just traded in). When we actually arrived at the financing department, I was then told that my credit needed to be run, and that based on that, I was only eligible for financing around 5%. This was very frustrating to me as I have just recently refinanced my home to eliminate other debts, and I knew that in a few weeks my credit scores would improve. I had originally intended to wait a few weeks before purchasing, and had I known the night before that I was receiving misleading information, I would not have allowed the process to even make it to financing at that point. Needless to say, I did not feel valued as a repeat customer at that point. When it became evident that I was ready to walk away from the deal, things began to change. Phone calls were made, I was given the tier 1 interest rate I was originally told I was eligible for, but I also ended up having to put money down, something I have never had to do previously. I am happy with my purchase, and I'm thankful for Ricky's (financing) help in going the extra mile to secure the deal, but despite this, of the 4 purchases I've had with Don Davis, this was by far the least pleasant experience. More

Our sales person and I got home in time for the Saints game. Geaux Saints and thank you Marvin Miller. Marvin remembered I had a broke foot due to the accident that totaled my car. He had the car up front with windows down so it wouldn't be too hot and I didn't have to walk too far. We will always deal with Don Davis...6th car as of now. More

He provided me with a loaner car as he had promised at the time that I brought my car back to drop it off . The diagnostic check and work was completed in a timely manner....while I had alternative transportation. Buddy and his team got me all fixed up! Thanks, too, to Mark and Chris, the service manager for their assistance in providing me with a happy outcome for my warranty work!!! Thanks, guys!!! More
