Here's the run down. Over a year ago I wasn't making as much as I do now. Ray treated me like I was the wealthiest person he ever met. He had me fill the proper paperwork, got everything approved, then he told me the price range I could afford. He allowed me to pick the car I wanted. After the sale he even helped me move my belongings from my trade in into the new car. He contacted me every so often to make sure I was still enjoying the car and sent me coupons for service discounts at the dealership. I mean wow! I recently came in to look at a used Challenger and Ray was able to find a brand new Challenger with incentives that covered my negative equity, sales tax, and saved me 1000 off a brand new car. Did I say wow? I was also able to secure an interest rate that was half of the previous rate when I bought the first car from Ray. Finally, they filled the tank, showed me all the cool features of the car, detailed it, and offered me 5 free oil changes! I have shopped around Atlanta and a sales person like Ray is hard to find. Purchased a 2006 jeep Cherokee......it's been a headache ever since purchased it may 16 2013 not even a week later I realized the passenger floor was wet took it to the service department where I w headache ever since purchased it may 16 2013 not even a week later I realized the passenger floor was wet took it to the service department where I was told that it was leaking coolant and they was unable to fix it due to the fact it was a used vehicle....ok so I proceeded on to speaking wit chuck where he tells me they inspect the used cars and trucks before selling them to make sure there safe before selling .....but that's not safe for me and my child if I'm driving and the car over heats......so he said he will call me back and I'm thinking to myself "UNBELIEVABLE"!!!!!!! So he agreed to fix .....I was asked did anybody ask me if I needed a loaner by another person at the dealership I said no and I do need one......they come back on the phone and tells me Chuck says there is no loaners available and the only way I can get one is if I pay half on the cost of the repair.....now by this time I'm really shacking my head thinking once again UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! So long story short I get the truck back coolant is still all over my floor claim they didnt have the funds to clean it ....you got to be kiddind me so i take it to my detailer and get it clean hoping and praying nothing else will go wrong......now I'm having a problem getting the title because they claim the owners that trade it in lost it so now they have to get a replacement title......if I wanted to deal with all of this headache I would have just purchased a car from a private owner where u would expect these kind of things but hoping for the best......I would have never expected these things from a well known dealership......all in all my experience with don jackson Chrysler was awful there more so worried about sales than providing outstanding customer service........I wouldn't recommend anybody to this dealership not even my worst enemy......I know don jackson is retired but I know this isn't how he would handle business......very disappointed More

This is my 2nd Rubicon so I pretty much knew what I wanted. After spending several days locating possible purchases, there were only three. Based on positive reviews, I called Spencer with Don Jackson Chrysler Dodge Jeep, I simply cannot say enough positive about this salesman and dealership. I would highly recommended these folks. Remember I bought the Jeep purely on specs - without ever seeing or driving it. Spencer was very accurate and also accommodating with all of my questions. After spending over 3 hrs at Landmark Dodge for a vehicle that they didn't have, low balling my trade in, and a ridiculous pymnt amt. The next day I receive an phone call from the internet manager (Eddie) at Don Jackson and explain what is was we were trying to accomplish and our prior experience with the other dealership. Ed stated that he could make it a smooth process and will get the numbers in line for me. I completed an online credit app and emailed Ed the info on our trade. Ed call me back later that day and told me he all the figures work out and had me at the pymnt i wanted to be at. Since i only live 5mins away from his dealership i stop by that same to day (not intending to purchase) and took a look at the vehicle that he had set aside which was an 2013 Dodge Durango and it was beautiful. Me and my wife stop by the next day and actually test drove the vehicle and afterwards went directly into the finance office to complete paperwork. All the numbers were the same that we spoke about over the phone. This has probably been one of the fastest and most pleasant process i have ever had. No money down, paying off the trade, payments right where we wanted them to be, and no back and forth haggling on the price. DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM Don Jackson Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Union City!! My wife and I spent months trying to find an affordable vehicle for me to drive to work each day. We came across a listi Jeep RAM in Union City!! My wife and I spent months trying to find an affordable vehicle for me to drive to work each day. We came across a listing for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a few other vehicles we wanted to look at from Don Jackson. It was after hours when we agreed on a price for the Jeep and my loan servicer was not available to approve the loan. They would not hold the car for us for any amount of time, so we had to purchase with credit to be refunded after the loan went through. Which they said would be no problem to do. This is when things became a nightmare. After the loan was approved and the dealership accepted the loan amount, they credited back to the credit card the wrong amount and still owed us over $2,000. For weeks I attempted to speak with anyone to correct this issue with no success and kept being told no one was available and that it was being resolved. I left many messages with no response. After a month of this I finally called our loan servicer who eventually called the dealership to fix the situation. After that they did finally refund the money to us. After only driving about 800 miles in the Jeep since the purchase, it was leaking power steering and I noticed the coolant kept running low, so I had it looked at by a mechanic. The first mechanic said it was just the power steering pump needing to be replaced. I took it to another mechanic who told me that the coolant was leaking into the oil, which was most likely a blown head gasket. That mechanic did not do engine work so I took it to a third mechanic who did. They informed me that the whole engine would need to be replaced at a cost around $3k to $4k. From there I called the Don Jackson dealership to see if they would take a look at it and if they would do anything to help. Well, after weeks of trying to once again get someone on the phone to talk to (the dealership is over an hour drive from where I live) I was finally told that they would look at the Jeep and would have a tow truck pick it up. I waited a week and no tow truck ever showed up. I attempted to reach management again for a few days with no luck. Finally, I called every 30 minutes asking for the person I had previously talked to from 9am to 4:30pm. At last the receptionist told me that (person in management) told her to tell me that they have been unable to contact the tow truck for pick up. I waited for another week, still without a car to get to work, my wife driving an extra 30 minutes to take me to work every morning and every days end. After yet another failed attempt to get any answers from management, I left a message saying that I would take care of it myself. I took it to a fourth mechanic who said they could make the repair for around $1k. After disassembling the motor the head ended up having a 6 inch crack in it (which I was shown) and had to be replace for an additional $650. All that with the power steering also needing fixed, I had to spend an additional $2,000 before I could even use the car since purchasing from the Don Jackson Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership. Then yesterday, almost a full month after they said they would look at it I received a call from the person in management I spoke with before asking me what was going on with the Jeep. UNBELIEVABLE. I fully believe they never were going to do anything, which they were not obligated to, but they could have at least been honest about leaving me high and dry with a busted vehicle. I have never dealt with such awful customer service in my life. I would never recommend this dealership to any friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, enemies, anyone. I received 3 months of headache and more debt because of the poor service this supposedly upstanding dealership provided. Do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere for your used car purchase. I hope no one goes through what I have had to for the past 3 months. More
