Was deceived by the sales man in the service department on July 17th, 2023 I mean an outright lie, that he put in writing. First tried to stiff me with a non-working key, then tried to convince me that I need to spend over two thousand more dollars, to get the key to work. Informed me that my BMW needed over seven thousand dollars worth of repairs, which I almost signed up for. When I backed out, they knew I would go elsewhere and only then decided they would reimburse me for the non-working key. I called 24/7 Locksmith, and they got my non-working key, that I was attempting to replace fixed in less than thirty minutes. While they were performing the diagnostic on my BMW he showed me that my original non-working key had been disabled, whereas the sales man in the service department at Don Jacobs BMW, put in writing at all of the keys had been enabled. I have photographic evidence of this deception. If I had not been on medical leave to have time to investigate this issue, I may not have had the time to find this small detail. This is what they are counting on. I am a public school employee. This is how they deceive their customers. Beyond despicable. Just pathetic. More
The worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with after purchasing a 2019 BMW X5 for almost 50k less than 22 days of ownership. Having this problem IF it went through their service department before being placed on the lot for sale I will never deal with BMW of Don Jacobs in Lexington Kentucky. Again and I urge any Other potential buyers to take the car to your mechanic before purchasing to be inspected. More
