Had a good experience buying a 3 yr. old Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk from 5 hrs. away. Not many for sale in my area so web shopping was necessary. The only problem was the difficulty contacting the staff by phone. A lot of messages and 'phone tag'. The vehicle was exactly as advertised. Photos were accurate and didn't make anything look better than it actually was. James did a fantastic job of showing the Jeep, explaining cost, fees and condition of vehicle. He called the day after the sale to let me know he found another key and would mail it to me. Finance person was also friendly and competent. I was not happy about the $580.00 documentation fee, but with it the price was still better than I've seen anywhere else. Even including the 5 hr. drive, I would recommend Don K. Auto Jeep for a fair deal and I would certainly buy another vehicle from James Abbott wherever he worked. More
Absolutely the worst dealership if have ever encountered. The service department is abhorrent. I purchase 3-4 new vehicles a year for my business and this is my first and last from DonK. Service department needs to be replaced. They do not care to help anyone unless there is big money involved. When asked to look at basic thing I was told they have no interest in looking at They do not care to help anyone unless there is big money involved. I am now needing to go outside the area to seek help. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the sales team but this service department is straight trash. More
I have not bought a vehicle from these folks, but have attempted to get a few of our company vehicles serviced, and I will tell you that their service department is the worst I have ever dealt with. The attempted to get a few of our company vehicles serviced, and I will tell you that their service department is the worst I have ever dealt with. The guys in the office are extremely rude over the phone, almost yelling at the customer because they called in asking a question. They do not communicate on recall repairs, as I attempted to drop a truck off for a recall that was scheduled months in advance, only to find out at the end of the day of the scheduled repair that they did not have the part. They told me it's my responsibility to call in every two weeks to see if they have the part. Buyer beware, buy from somebody else! More
Purchased a Certified used Jeep for 52,000 and 6 weeks 4000 miles later a service light came on for the sway bar. I called the dealership and I as told it was not there problem and I would have to pay to 4000 miles later a service light came on for the sway bar. I live 3 hours away from the dealership and was inquiring about a vehicle, wanted to ask a few questions was on hold almost 10 minutes before anyone picked up, and then when I finally got someone and asked a about a vehicle, wanted to ask a few questions was on hold almost 10 minutes before anyone picked up, and then when I finally got someone and asked a couple questions, she told me there were 2 people in front of me that she would have to take my name and number and call me back. I said great, no problem, thank you, she hung up on me. Not even a goodbye or anything. She did not take my name and number either. I am guessing she was magic and knew this information! This was very maddening. I guess it was not meant to be. I called back and told their receptionist what happened, she was very kind and apologetic. But that sale sperson . . . RUDE. More
Have had appt on books for over a month to get bumper replaced and some paint touched up. Dropped off this morning, went to pick up and jeep still in same spot and nothing done. Lady in body shop office INCREDIBLY rude and telling me if I bring it again tomorrow there’s no guarantee they’ll get to it. Never mentioned that it might not get serviced today.
