Aftercare After the purchase of my truck I reviewed the ammenities associated with my purchase. I notice the floor mats were missing. Additionally, Jay pointed out an imperfection in the paint cause by nature, and he would have the service department buff it out. On the fourth day after the purchase of my truck, I went to start it and the battery was dead. I contacted my sales representative and explained the situation. I dropped my truck off at the service department and left instructions to contact me once everything was completed. Here is where customer service took a familiar turn. The service department contacted me to inform me my truck was ready, however, when I inquired about the two other issues, I was told: "That's not our department, that's sales." I understood that, however, when I asked if the salesman could be paged, (who is within the same building), I was told to contact him myself to let him know my truck was ready. I text Jay, but I never received any confirmation that he received the vehicle or my text. So I came to the dealership only to discover my truck was still missing the floor mats, and frustrated with the process, I don't know if the natural imperfection was buffed out. Furthermore, my wife was highly disappointed because she has been a Toyota owner for twenty years and she convenience me to go with Toyota. I was going to purchase a new Escalade as my previous two trucks were. More
