Ended up buying a 2018 Camry XSE. Love the car. Buck is one of the best sales people I’ve worked with. Was fair & ended up getting me a good deal. I came in with the Costco discount. Initially they said that would be the best deal I could get, but ended up getting them lower. The vehicle I wanted was a dealer demo and not at the dealership when I went in. Dealer thought it would have a few hundred miles. Ended up having 5,000 miles, bumper ding, and smelled of smoke. They knocked the price down & gave me more for my trade in than CarMax and Texas Direct Auto quoted me. Got settled on price & went to finance. Finance initially offered a 12% interest rate. I have a 670 credit score with no derogatory remarks. They shopped it around and said they can get me to 9.4%. I thought this was ridiculous, so they let me loan out the car for a few days as they tried to get a better rate. They ended up getting me a 5.4% interest rate. Long story short, take your time & you’ll end up with a good deal. Don’t take the first offer as it will be extremely one sided. More
