Was able to 'cut to the meat' of what I needed to know about this awesome car. Peter Hubbard GM was 'no nonsense' on the business side of backing up the vehicle in light of it's many competitors. Jason Gest helped my husband and I with the financing aspects. He was very professional, pleasant, and focused which is a great comfort when making such a purchase. Rick Tonstad (Service Advisor) was a bit busy to talk to, but am looking forward to meeting him when I have service checks but from the brief visual I got, he looked like he had a few years under his belt. Viewing the 'service bay' it was clean, organized, and very professional looking. Gave me a sense of trust when I saw a few gray hair guys (like me). No cars were being serviced at the time, but a couple were in the 'drive up,' and the mechanics were 'on deck.' It was my first visit at this dealership on August 18th, and my 2nd was 16 days later when I picked up my new 2016 Subaru Outback. I thank my husband first for checking out consumer report, Tim and Peter for knowing 'their stuff,' and the engineers at Subaru for making such a beautiful machine. She's a beauty! Knowing Subaru's reputation for reliability my husband and I stopped by to look. We had the most wonderful, non-pushy sales person help us. When we stopped in again he was busy but another gentleman stepped right up to help us until he was free. When we finally went in to purchase a vehicle the one we wanted was already sold but they were very helpful and found another car for us, exactly the same as the first that we could pick up in a few days. Even though this car was (and still is) in high demand, DJ gave us a good discount off of the sticker price with no hassle or back and forth negotiation. He answered our questions straightforwardly, and helped us order a car with the options we wanted. We were so impressed that when we were ready to replace our 2006 Escape this month, we went back to DJ. We were interested in a Forester, but wanted an updated navigation system and eyesight lane guidance. When they got the new 2016 Foresters in stock, we were still missing a couple of features that we liked on our Outback. We went through the entire process of purchasing a Forester, but at the last minute decided on a 2016 Outback instead. Despite all of the time that DJ had already spent working up our Forester purchase, he graciously switched and ordered us a new Outback instead when we changed our minds. I would definitely recommend DJ, and would buy another car from him anytime. More

Quality, Honest, and Professional Service I was in the market to purchased a new vehicle. I headed to Don Miller-East with the intent of test driving a few Subarus. I was specifically interest I was in the market to purchased a new vehicle. I headed to Don Miller-East with the intent of test driving a few Subarus. I was specifically interested in the Forester, but I also wanted to look at both the Outback and Crosstrek. Once I walked in the door I was immediately greeted by Bruce. He took the time to listen to my needs and patently answered my questions. He was extremely patient and encouraged me to test drive any (and all) vehicles I was interested in so I could make the best decision possible. I didn't intent to, but I ended up purchasing my Subaru Forester that day! The value was just too good to pass up! I had a trade in and the trade in value was very compatible to Kelly Blue Book, in fact the quoted trade in value by far exceeded the value I had in mind. In addition, Bruce was very accommodating and was able to respectively and professionally negotiate a price that fit my budget. I couldn't have asked for a better price for both my trade in and new vehicle. Not once did I feel pressured or pushed into an agreement or contract. I can honestly say that I had a very enjoyable and pleasant experience! I highly recommend Don Miller Subaru-East! More
Treated respectfully and professionally I went to the dealership to look at (test drive) a used Outback and actually came home with it that day. I did not feel pushed into the decision but, was given a good deal on my Legacy trade-in and a good price on the used Outback. I had done my research ahead of time a knew my price range and what bells and whistles I wanted and those I did not (nor need). I've "loved" my Subaru Legacy and knew I would not look at another brand. I have always had great service at Don Miller and as a woman have been treated respectfully in my car purchases. More
