DJ is a knowledgeable, friendly and considerate salesman who certainly knows the Subaru vehicles that are available at this dealership. He displayed a patient and engaging manner of interacting with us, while he took a good deal of time to first understand our needs and preferences regarding the used Outback that we were seeking -- before he suggested five or six models in our price range for us to examine and/or take out for a test drive. He appeared to be quite genuine in encouraging us to take a comfortable amount of time in driving/experiencing each vehicle that we examined. DJ readily answered all of our questions in a confident, reassuring manner, and there was no evidence of impatience or heavy-handed pressure as we were narrowing down our choices. This was one of the most comfortable, "laid back" and satisfying sales experiences that I have ever experienced!! After we had selected our "new car" and were filling out the paperwork, DJ surprised us with a full tank of gas (other dealers in the past had sold us cars with only a couple of gallons of gas left in the tank - about enough to get part way home!) and he transferred our belongings from our trade-in to our Outback, so that we were happily able to start back home in our new car. I would certainly recommend DJ and Don Miller Subaru East to any of our friends who are in the market for a fairly-priced, pre-owned vehicle. More
I purchased my BRZ from 2000 miles away. Shannon and Michael were both incredibly easy to work with and thoughtful. They did everything they said they would when they said. We bought a new car even though we were trying to go another year with our old one! After spending 8 hours between sales and service, having some value-added tweaks done at our own request, I feel like these guys are there to make the car buying and service experiences as seamless as possible. It was surreal for a few days - we had trouble absorbing all of what transpired. They were universally patient and forthcoming with advice and answers to questions. There were even unexpected happy surprises along the way. Subaru is the best car on the road, and buying one at East is the best experience possible. Simple beginning service was done efficiently. Our portable satellite radio was installed with the wiring under the console so it would be out of sight and not in the way at no additional charge. Jim spent a lot of time with us, showing us the new features of the 2013 Outback, some of which we were not aware of, since we were hoping to buy or lease a 2012 model and had researched only that vintage. Overall, no complaints. I look forward to my next visit to Don Miller. These are real people, not fake sales guys who paste on a happy face over their usual cynical ones. They really believe in the cars that they are selling and servicing, and it shows. More

As an added bonus, it seems like everyone at this place is an automotive enthusiast in one way or another. It was great to finally come across a dealership full of people that really had a passion for cars, it's something you don't see too often and it made me feel good about buying from them.
