My 86-year-old grandfather recently bought a Chevy Cruz at Donny Mill's. My grandfather saw the vehicle had low miles and felt it was well priced. He purchased the car, brought it home, and upon inspecti at Donny Mill's. My grandfather saw the vehicle had low miles and felt it was well priced. He purchased the car, brought it home, and upon inspection of the Carfax, I(his grandson) realized that the car had been involved in two accidents, one causing frame damage. After careful review of the CarFax, I noticed something weird. The car was registered in 2020 with 69,000 miles. My grandfather bought the car with 70,000, meaning that in 5 years, whoever owned the vehicle put about 1000 miles on the car. 1000 miles in 5 years! This smells fishy and screams of odometer rollback. I will file a Federal and State case to look into whether the miles were tampered with. Additionally, I got the car appraised from two separate dealerships, and both said the car wasn't worth more than $1000 due to the structural damage. They took advantage of my grandfather, and the guy at Donny's refused to refund us even though we purchased the car less than 24 hours ago. More
