I contacted Doral Acura Tue 6/3 about purchasing a vehicle I found online. What followed was a week of incompetence, lack of communication, complete unprofessionalism, & shady ethics. I was promised information on the vehicle all day Tue & Wed- it didn’t arrive until late Wed after I repeatedly followed up. All I wanted was a video of the car since I am not local. Once I decided to move forward, the finance manager sent a link for a $500 deposit, stating it would be refunded Friday. From there, it only got worse. Thur, I tried contacting them all day to finalize the sale. I didn’t hear back until 7p- only to be told no one could help because he, the finance manager, had taken the day off. I find it hard to believe a large car dealership can’t sell cars if he happens to not be working but okay. Fri late morning, I followed up again- I’m in sales and no one would ever have to try this hard to give me their business. The purchase contract was finally sent- with the wrong price. I pointed it out, & a corrected version was sent- this time with new errors: that I was purchasing accessories that I hadn’t agreed to (& via text when questioned, he told me I’m not getting accessories) & further, said there was no deposit paid. When I asked about the deposit, I was told it was never taken- I sent my credit card statement showing the pending charge by them and a screenshot of the original payment confirmation that I took when it was made. He told me he’d look into it, & I signed the docs. The entire purchase process lacked any guidance, clarity, or care. No communication. No “congrats” or “thank you” after completion- not even confirmation I officially owned the car. I had to message the sales guy myself just to confirm the purchase was completed & that there was nothing further to do or sign. Days later, on Mon, I still hadn’t heard from them about my refund, so this time, I sent proof of the *completed transaction of money going from my account to Doral Acura, listed right on the bank statement- the finance manager continued claiming there was “no record” of the deposit & stopped responding altogether. I followed up again today (Tues) about it & he claimed he would normally receive an email confirmation of a deposit & he didn’t, so he has no proof I made one-despite me providing actual proof. He stopped responding again so I let him know that I’ve since had to dispute the charge with my bank & his response was ‘good, cause they have no record’. Worth mentioning that 50% of his short texts the entire time, that I had to constantly follow up to get, contained typos- not the most of professional impressions. Now I’m genuinely worried about the condition of the Range Rover I purchased1 which I’ve never seen in person- after witnessing how poorly they’ve handled everything. I have zero confidence that it will arrive in the “like new” condition they promised. Do not give these people your business. If you do, never pay a deposit- even if they ask- because they’ll deny ever receiving it. Go through every document they send you with a fine-tooth comb. This dealership is not professional, not responsive, & absolutely not trustworthy. Update 7/30- may be getting a lawyer involved. The car arrived with a deep scratch across the entertainment center- something I asked about & it was no disclosed. Repair will cost $2-3k- I’ve been advised to request a credit from them. I have the vehicle condition convos in writing. Now, nearly two months after I bought the car 6/6, they’re claiming the deal isn’t final due to missing insurance info & VIN inspect- info they should’ve gotten long ago? I’ve already made a payment on the car. The temp plate expired 7/8 & I haven’t been able to drive the car legally since. They haven’t mailed me a new one so I can drive my car, that’s I guess not my car? I had to dispute my deposit through my bank- they never refunded it. I called & emailed the manager who responded on google- never heard back. Fraudulent. More
Don't waste your time visiting to buy any used cars from Doral Acura. No negotiating would budge on fees make me wonder if they try this at the Sales desk I can only imagine what they do at the Service desk. BUYER BEWARE More
BEWARE! Low Ball listing with bogus "Protection Pack" for $1998. I bought a 1 year old used vehicle with <10,500 miles and lots of factory stickers on it (ie, a very new car) over phone/text/email from out of state. I had the vehicle inspected by a 3rd party at my expense and shipped to my at my expense. I agreed to the sale price on their website listing of $46,395. However, the purchase agreement they sent had this as the cash price but the "total selling price", which should have matched what I was quoted and what was listed on their website, was increased by $1998 for a "protection pack". I complained and they said the 'work' (allegedly a clear coat - for a 1 yo car??? - and lojack car recovery kit) was already completed and also includes "everything...we already did in service with the vehicle". But, there was already an $1199 "predelivery service charge", which actually makes sense for "everything...we already did in service with the vehicle". While I wasn't happy about it, it was still priced well and I'd get something for the added cost, and in my nationwide search for this vehicle, I didn't find many suitable options. So I agreed to it and requested information about the the protection pack, presumably including warranty and recovery information. We've since closed the deal and I've taken possession of the vehicle, but still haven't seen any info on the protection pack. My salesman has said a few times now that he'll send it but I've yet to see it. I believe they fraudulently inflated my purchase price once they were convinced I really wanted this vehicle. More

She somehow secured me a rate so good, I felt like I'd just been handed a secret VIP pass to money-saving land. Everything was explained with such clarity, it was like finance had suddenly become my favorite subject. Manuela's so fantastic, I've decided I'll only deal with her in the future. This dealership has repeatedly posted information on their website to generate traffic into their showroom - only to find out none of it is real. Then they follow up with a text confirming the vehicle you are interested in is on site.... again not real Each time generating a two - three hour commute... only to be told the website or text shouldn't be trusted. The sales staff suggests you to leave a deposit so you are the first to see the car upon its arrival. Eventually the car arrives and it is disclosed to you that they have raised the price of the car by $5000. only when final numbers are presented, noting at the "inflated cost" they are still losing money on the car - and will not honor their initial website price and very quickly offer a refund of your deposit. Slimey, manipulative and under-handed used car salesman are tactics are on full display at Doral Acura. Expect better and shop elsewhere for your own piece of mind. BUYER BEWARE!!! More

I purchased a vehicle two months ago, and initially, incorrect information was included in the original vehicle purchase document, which took almost a month and countless reminders to take care of. then the vehicle came in with a broken LoJack, which, to start with, should not have been the case I, as a customer, had to face, but even after the replacement of the locjack, it remains disconnected and is an issue that remains unresolved, and I am tired of contacting the sales team as well as the manager who assisted with the purchase. My calls, reminders, and messages are going nowhere. This has been a terrible experience, and I am forced to leave a negative review of my experience. Please stay away from this dealership!!! More
