I thought i had a pretty great experience at Downey Hyundai. They were able to get me the exact car i wanted down to the color at the price I was willing to pay. It was a fleet vehicle, meaning someone Hyundai. They were able to get me the exact car i wanted down to the color at the price I was willing to pay. It was a fleet vehicle, meaning someone was renting it while their car was getting serviced. They were able to get the renter to switch cars immediately to deliver it to me. The guys there were very nice and accommodating when they wanted my money. However, they offered to return my rental car for me as a courtesy, and 2 weeks later, i got a call from Hertz saying they never received my car. Upset by this, i reached out to Jose, who promised to pay me back for the mistake not once but twice. Well, that reimbursement never came, but he loves to post stacks of money on Instagram every week. He is now ignoring my texts and DMs. As is George Nino, his manager. Very disappointed as i would have happily returned the car myself if i knew i was going to be charged $200 for their negligence. Not only that, but my tags never came in the mail, and they are not getting back to me about that either. (3 months in of owning and still no tags have shown up.) Absolutely terrible after-customer-care. I'm so disappointed this is how what i thought was a positive experience ended in such a headache. I've had to file a claim with corporate to try to mediate in which they are still ignoring and not responding to. You've lost a valuable customer, and i will never recommend this location again. How embarrassing. UPDATE: My evs 12v battery has died 3x in 1.5 months, only 3 months into ownership so far. As i am trying to file my rental car reimbursement, i find out the dealership never sent my info on to corporate, and i don't even exist in the corp system. I still have no tags, charger, or reimbursement for either rental cars i had to deal with in this experience. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS !!!!!! This has taken up SO much of my time and energy, and I'm so frustrated with this whole entire experience. I worked for hyundai for 5 years, and now i will never buy another one after this terrible journey. More
