We were very happy with our overall purchasing experience at Downtown Nashville Nissan. We waited for more than half an hour before we got an agent, but Ron’s bright smile and fun personality soon won us back. He patiently helped us test drive and explain differences between the two models to us. He was new to the dealership but he could quickly find answers for us. After a week we decided on the 2013 Altima. We inquired pricing from several dealerships and Justin Smith responded us quickly. We had a pleasant negotiation experience with Justin. Unlike the internet sales agents from the other dealerships, Justin was very responsive and straightforward. After we agreed on the price, we went to the dealership in late afternoon. Justin greeted us at the door, patiently showed us the neat features of the car and test drived with us again. He was so knowledgeable about cars! He listened to us and did not push us to get something we didn’t want. When we were waiting to get financing, we learned that he was late for his anniversary party! It passed 8:30PM when we got all the paperwork done. Justin stayed to give us a final walkthrough and helped us set up the phones in the car. Even though he was late for his anniversary party, he was very patient with us the whole time and did not leave until he finished with us, which showed his true professionalism! We would definitely recommend family and friends to this dealership. Thumbs up to Justin and Ron! More
What a whirlwind of a day last Sunday was. When the check engine light came on in my 1996 Nissan Maxima I knew it was time to start looking for a new car. My Nissan was the best car that I had driven and I knew that I wanted another one. But with the economy the way it is and being a victim of corporate downsizing, I wasn't sure I could afford a new one (or even a used one). So, I got my friend, who is a whiz at negotiating, to come with me to Downtown Nashville Nissan (chosen because it is very close to where I work now). We met up with Matt at the door and immediately gave him an unrealistic dollar amount that I was willing to spend. He never flinched. He just smiled and began the process of showing me cars that were very close to that price (none of which were Barbie cars or big wheels, which is what I thought I was going to be stuck getting - haha). As we were test driving the cars, he casually mentioned the Versa Sedan to me and had me drive by a couple on the lot. It was as if fireworks and bluebirds were floating above my head. The car he pointed out was perfect. So, then the fun part came. Having to deal with Elzie and the finance team. Well, it turned out that it was fun! Who knew??? Elzie came up with a price and a plan that I could manage. And now, I'm driving my brand new Versa Sedan and actually sang along with the radio on the way to work this morning instead of praying that my car makes it without overheating or breaking down. I had originally spoken by phone to Mike Trefry @ Downtown Nashville Nissan to make an offer on a 2013 Altima 2.5 S. I made arrangements to come in for a "face to face" discussion the following evening, but at the time of my arrival Mike was preoccupied with another client (we did not have a scheduled time)... That said I was introduced to Arisha Manley and while every effort was made to accomodate my offer, it still fell short of the deal I was hoping to reach (mind you I was asking for a significant reduction based on a pre approved loan). While I'd left the lot dissappointed, the non intrusive follow up calls from both Arisha's sales manager, I believe his name is Jason, and from Arisha herself, demonstrated a level of committment not only to sell a product, but a true willingness to be of service - and that sold me! In the end, Arisha and DNN group were able to make me an offer that I could not refuse and I'm now proud owner of a 2013 Altima, thanks to Arisha and the rest of the crew @ DNN. More
We are a corporate customer, purchasing a company vehicle for the first time in 10 years.... I contacted many Nissan dealers looking for a Rogue. Each of those dealers gave me a quote but Kyle remained pol for the first time in 10 years.... I contacted many Nissan dealers looking for a Rogue. Each of those dealers gave me a quote but Kyle remained polite and persistent. As I advised him of issues with his quote and 'figured he'd go away'; he would come back with another option, resolution, or modification. Our purchase timeframe was about 1 month and during that time he remained consistent. We reached a final price, and I walked in with a check, signed a few forms, and out the door I drove. I had a 2009 Nissan Xterra that I LOVED, but when my husband bought a Ford F150 I traded it in for a more fuel effecient car, a Hyundai Tuscon. Although I throughly enjoyed the gas mileage I got out of husband bought a Ford F150 I traded it in for a more fuel effecient car, a Hyundai Tuscon. Although I throughly enjoyed the gas mileage I got out of the Tuscon I never loved it like I did the Xterra. So finally after enough misery of missing my most favorite car ever I decided I was getting myself back into another one. I knew I was upside down on the Tuscon, but I did not know how much so I figured I would contact a dealership to find out how much I was upside down and what kind of an interest rate I could get - I got a horrible rate on the Tuscon and it might have been financially adventageous to get a new car if I was going to get a better rate. I was getting a new Xterra - it was not a matter of if, it was a matter of when, but I needed to find out my options. I went to NissanUSA.com and built my dream Xterra and filled in lead information for Action Nissan and Downtown Nissan. I received an e-mail from Action and Downtown the same day. The rep from Action thanked me for my inquiry and assured me they would be more than happy to find the vehicle I was looking for. But Jim Ranson went on to let me know not only that they had the exact vehicle I was looking for, but also how much he could sell it for with my Friends and Family discount. Super. Well, we weren't really looking to buy right away, but when my husband said we should go by the dealership and check it out I was not going to argue! When we got there we just went staight to the lot not wanting to waste anyone's time because we were not intending on buying. On our way to the Xterras we were approached by Ronnie Myers. I'm really not fond of sales people and my husband is really not a fan so I was kind of irritated that one found us at first. But within seconds Ronnie had won us both over with his smile, energy and the best thing I've ever heard from a dealer; "Hi, I'm Ronnie. I'm brand new, but I'll be more than happy to help you and if I don't have the answer I'll find it." I knew within a minute that he would be the guy I would buy a car from. We went to look at the Xterras and found the one Jim told me about. I loved it of course so now we needed to find out about my car and the financing. This takes a long time and sales guys usually irritate the crap out of me with what I call "The Game" (I am a serial car purchaser and have bought lots of cars.) Ronnie was great though and I actually had a really good time working with him. It's nice to have a new, fresh face who does not have a game and does not use the maniupulation tactics all sales poeple seem to have. Ronnie was honest, helpful, funny, and personable. And he sold me a car. (Of course it was with the help of the financing team and other staff as well which were all fantastic.) This is my 4th Nissan and I'll never stray again! Buying the Hyundai was a nightmare and I'll never recommend them to anyone ever. I'm so happy to be back in a Nissan and working with Nissan people. (I'm glad Ronnie, new to the car industry, chose to work at Nissan. Best car company ever and I'm sure he'll do brilliantly there.) Now I've got a wonderful car, a great finance rate and long awaited happiness at having my favorite car back! I'm thrilled to be back in an Xterra and the enjoyable experience I had buying it was the icing on the cake. I thank you and am very happy to be a new Downtown Nissan customer.
