Mr. Weston, as we mentioned in our response to your previous negative review regarding this same issue, we regret that you are dissatisfied with your experience at Dream Nissan, but we also think it is important to add proper context. You say that you purchased the vehicle in September and then brought this issue to the dealership's attention in October; however, the only service record we have for you is from October 2025, when you reported an issue with the parking brake light. We also have text messages between you and Dream Nissan staff scheduling the service appointment for the parking brake light issue, and none of those communications mention any other problems with the vehicle. Furthermore, we have email and text exchanges from December 2025 where you reported losing the title the dealership sent and requested a duplicate. At no time during those communications did you mention any issues with the vehicle. In fact, we did not hear from you again until April 2026—seven (7) months after your purchase—when you reported that the vehicle was not operational and accused Dream Nissan of concealing known defects. As we explained before, the vehicle you purchased was a high mileage used vehicle with over 140,000 miles, and it was priced accordingly. Before placing the vehicle into our inventory, we performed a standard pre-delivery inspection (PDI) which revealed a check engine light. Dream Nissan's service department diagnosed and corrected the issue, confirming all codes were cleared before placing the vehicle in inventory. During the purchase transaction, you received a copy of the Carfax report showing the vehicle's available repair and damage history, as well as an itemized PDI report detailing the work Dream Nissan's service department performed during the PDI process. You also received a disclosure advising that the vehicle, like all used vehicles, might have unknown damage or mechanical issues. Per company policy, you signed all of these documents. You expressed no concerns about the vehicle during the purchase transaction. When you reached out to us in April 2026, we tried to help you get a proper diagnosis, which led to discovering a transmission defect covered under the manufacturer's extended powertrain warranty. This was repaired at no charge, and we understand the vehicle is now operational, though further repair is recommended. Despite our best efforts, you remain dissatisfied with your treatment. At this point, we do not think it is possible to change your mind, and as we've said before, we do regret that. But we also cannot agree with your claims in this review and, once again, appreciate the chance to provide some context regarding your negative feelings about the sales and service staff at Dream Nissan.
