BUYER BEWARE! !!! Worst car buying experience ever, they tried to rip me off and have cut off all communication after work was not complete prior to me picking up t !!! Worst car buying experience ever, they tried to rip me off and have cut off all communication after work was not complete prior to me picking up the car. I bought this car for my son we had the unfortunate experience of dealing with ivan the salesman, when we test drove it, it had not been detailed, it needed an alignment and there was a box in the trunk with a tail light in it all of which we were told would be done by the time we picked up the car, non of it was done. We sat down after the test drive we agreed on a price and he said the finance manager would call me to go over financing and finalize the paper work because we had to leave. The finance manager called within 2 hours that part was very easy they sent over a million and one pages I signed and sent everything over, laster that night my husband went threw the paper work because the numbers sounded off, they added a $1400 gap insurance without my knowledge and the price was almost $1000 over what I had agreed to, all things I didn't notice when I was signing, completely my fault for not reading all 50 pages. I called the finance manager and he tells me he will figure it out for when I pick up the car. I showed up a few days later to pick up the car and it was as if no one was expecting me to be there, the finance manager was not there and ivan the salesman was lying to the sales manager tom foster about the price we had agreed on, after I was able to cancel the gap insurance I sat there for almost 2 hours arguing with the Salman and the sales manager ivan finally admitted to the original agreement and tom agreed to cut me a check for the amount added but now im still stuck paying the intest on it. I look at the car, I can tell it has not been touched since iv seen it, but they assure me the mechanical work has been done, but im so tired and stressed from the day we leave, my son tells me its driving weird turns out the alignment is not done and low and behold the dam box for the tail light is still in the trunk, they wrapped it in the carpet trying to hide it, iv emailed tom foster the manager and the owner, iv called multiple times with no response, this car will not pass inspection, and now im going to be stuck paying to have these things fixed, they are scammed and take advantage of people, buyer beware! Do NOT purchase an extended warranty with your vehicle from this place. Probably best just to take your business elsewhere. The warranty company they use is absolutely horrendous. Completely screwed me by from this place. Probably best just to take your business elsewhere. The warranty company they use is absolutely horrendous. Completely screwed me by only paying for 1/3 of my repair. They'll pitch the top tier warranty as if it is so great when in reality it'll barely pay for anything. The dealership said they'd help but then I never heard back from them... My car has now been in the shop for 3 weeks and counting. More
My experience with DriveMax in West Bridgewater was extremely disappointing. I found a car I loved and went in prepared to purchase it with cash. From the moment I sat down with the sales agent to neg extremely disappointing. I found a car I loved and went in prepared to purchase it with cash. From the moment I sat down with the sales agent to negotiate, it was clear the staff was inexperienced. The sales representative was willing to walk away from a cash deal because I refused to purchase their “DriveMax Care” package for an additional $1,000. I was told it was required in order to buy the car. They frame it as “pre-installed accessories” that they don’t want to remove, but it felt like a forced add-on simply to inflate the price. After pushing back, they eventually agreed to remove the package. What really aggravated me was what happened next. I rushed back to the dealership with a check for the balance because I was told the car would be ready for pickup on Saturday. When I arrived, the car was not ready at all: • The car had not been washed • The bumper I was promised would be buffed and polished was untouched • The inspection sticker had not been done • The tank wasn’t filled with gas On top of that, the dealership charged $895 in fees, yet I still had to handle several things myself, including working with my insurance to transfer my plates and taking the car to get the inspection sticker. The situation got even worse when I took the car for inspection. The car failed because the OBD sensor was not operating. When I contacted the dealership, they told me I needed to drive the car back to them. At that point, after everything that had already happened, I simply did not trust them to handle the repair properly. I asked if they would reimburse me for taking it to the BMW dealership instead, and they refused. Between the forced add-ons, unclear fees, the car not being ready as promised, and it failing inspection immediately after purchase, this was one of the most frustrating car buying experiences I’ve had. Buyers should be very cautious and make sure everything is clearly documented before completing a purchase here. More
BIG MISTAKE! I called the SERVICE DEPT to ask a simple question, was told TOO BUSY, given incorrect information. Called and left detailed message that WARNING I called the SERVICE DEPT to ask a simple question, was told TOO BUSY, given incorrect information. Called and left detailed message that WARNING MESSAGE was on - IGNORED! Spoke to SALES MANAGER (who from what I've seen just sits at his desk). Said he would call back and didn't. The problem what what I'm told is a SOFTWARE PROBLEM - seems to indicate SLIP SHOD SERVICE. Tires WON'T HOLD PRESSURE! All caps were CROSS THREADED which seems to indicate that SERVICE was aware of the problem, just too lazy to correct it. DAVE, SALES MANAGER wanted me to drive vehicle (on a highway) to business and risk a BLOWOUT due to LOW TIRE PRESSURE! SERVICE CENTER failed when I asked a SIMPLE QUESTION. It is understandable that so many photos are included to conceal the AFTER PURCHASE FAILURES! More
