I would like to share my experience with Day Apollo Subaru in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. I purchased my vehicle brand new in 2015 with my dad at my side because I am aware that being a young female trying to make a “deal” is immediately asking to be ripped off while sitting with an older male car salesman. We found my vehicle, purchased it, and then moved on. I had been talked into a 3/36,000 warranty, 7 yr/100,000 warranty, and road hazard and was told this was all Subaru Certified. I had great trust in this dealership with it being in my hometown so I decided to have all oil changes done here. After every oil change, I was informed that they did the oil change, inspections, and tire rotation. My first incident occurred when I found a nail in my tire. I went back to this dealership and was informed that was the ONLY thing not covered- despite having a Road Hazard warranty that should have covered it- so I paid the $50.00 and then found out later that yes, indeed this should have been covered. A family member of mine owns a tire shop nearby and commented on my two front tires being “bald.” He took the car to his shop to look at them more closely, and look at that, my tires had NEVER been rotated for TWO YEARS. I now had two bald front tires and two perfectly fine tires in the back. I decided to bite the bullet and buy all 4 new tires, knowing that nothing should be wrong with these NEW tires. Another incident happened when I brought the car in for a wash and received my car back with swirl mark scratches all over the exterior. I took it back to have it buffed out for free and they absolutely refused with attitude. My most recent oil change with Day Apollo, I left and noticed my car had an oil burning smell. I get home and my car was pouring smoke out of the front grill. I called them and returned back to the dealership immediately. Long story short, they then lied to my father and told him they took my car out for a “test drive” even though we could see, they had my car hidden in a separate garage as they “fixed” it more. They told us that they oil cap was left off- but gave me a free 30,000 mile extended warranty, which made me wonder what ACTUALLY happened to my vehicle. Recently, I decided to trade in my vehicle and buy a used Subaru elsewhere. I hadn’t used my 7 yr/100,000 mile warranty and spent $2,000.00 on it- being “Subaru Certified”- I would get my money back, right? Wrong. While with the finance manager at the other Subaru Dealership, we were informed we were sold a third party warranty that was NOT Subaru Certified. Which had meant that we were misinformed- or as I’d call it- LIED to. I have no idea what I will get back for my warranty, if I will get back anything. I am to find out in 6 weeks. I have heard from multiple people that this dealership treats your car extremely poorly when in for service and just generally don’t care. When washing, they use old sponges that are laid on the floor and never washed- which probably explained my swirl scratches all over my vehicle. My best advice is to STAY AWAY FROM THIS SUBARU DEALERSHIP. I will never recommend anyone here and will also inform friends and family that have purchased here to read into their warranties because obviously this will cause more issues for other customers. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and professionalism at Moon Township Day Apollo Subaru and warn everyone to stay away and to not give them business. More

NOT BUYING MY NEW SUBARU HERE. Brought my wife's Forester in for an airbag recall. Since the car was to be there, I also asked for an oil change. What was supposed to be a two hour airbag fix, plus an oil change, ended up being an all day affair. When I brought the car in at my 9:30 AM appointment, I told the service agent to make sure to top off my fluids especially the WWFluid. (Roberto wrote it down on the service order.) Not hearing from anyone by 2:30PM, I called Subaru. They said they had sent me an email earlier. I was not told that an email would be our basis of communication for the day. "JUST PICK UP THE **** PHONE AND CALL ME!!!" Somehow I ended up with Nathan as my service advisor. I found out then that my car had not been even looked at yet. I told Nathan that I would be there by 4PM to pick up my car. When I checked my WWfluid tank, it had not been topped off. Brought to Nathan's attention. It was late. I wanted to get home but got stuck in the parkway traffic. I tried to avoid this with the 9:30 AM appointment. If you want more detail, JUST CALL ME...you have my phone numbers. More

A Good Experience at Day Apollo I am a big fan of both your express service for routine service and your set up in which I can drive my car into the building and then register with o I am a big fan of both your express service for routine service and your set up in which I can drive my car into the building and then register with one of the service reps without having to have made an apptment or to hunt for a parking spot and run to get inside if the weather is bad. At my recent visit All went like clockwork. There were no delays, the waiting area is clean and pleasant with tv, good coffee and snacks available, and the rep brought the paper work to me for signing when the job was completed. She explained what work was done, which nicely had ended with a car wash and no problems found. Everyone I encountered was pleasant, helpful but didn't waste time. And while I was waiting, the sales rep who sold me my car 2 years ago, saw and recognized me and came over for a short but friendly chat - which wasn't a sales pitch in disguise. Was a nice touch. Our over all experience was excellent and we definitely would referred some friends. Walt Winchell was also very helpful over the internet with details on a purchase. Steve Huetter, in finance, was a terrific person to work with. He really explained the financing of our purchase and answered all our questions More
