Mike C helped us and let us look inside the truck and drive it. We decided this was the right truck. I let Mike know what deal I was willing to do with trade. After the initial back and forth we agreed upon the deal I was comfortable with and purchased the truck. They were fair to work with and listened to our requests. Always do your homework when shopping for a car and know what you are willing to spend. Don’t waste your time or the dealerships. I recommend Dupage Ram for helping us with a great truck and a great deal. More

Not a big deal, we tried to come up with a deal, and didn't agree upon the price, so we left. A few days later we received a text message from our sales person, Erik. He was asking how we could make the deal possible. We told him our bottom line, he said he would have to check with his sales manager. He later responded that the manager had agreed, he stated he would have all of our paperwork ready so we would not have to wait. After waiting almost 2 hours, Erik had asked us to write the check for the car without seeing any of the financial information in order to "expedite" the process. I declined. After another hour, we finally saw financing and the price was not what we agreed upon. Erik came into the office and acknowledged that was not the price we agreed upon. He then went to the sales manager and showed him the text messages were we all came to an agreement, and the sales manager declined to honor the agreement that he had originally agreed to. More

The car is awesome, the deal was amazing, and I drove out of there with a noticeable upgrade to my previous vehicle (literally years ahead of what I drove). Poor service quality I used to have a high regard for this dealership, having bought my 2009 RAM 1500 there and have had it solely serviced by DuPage. Recently, I had a v I used to have a high regard for this dealership, having bought my 2009 RAM 1500 there and have had it solely serviced by DuPage. Recently, I had a very serious issue arise where the gas tank detached from the vehicle due to the tank strap and rust. I was able to get it to DuPage Dodge and was anticipating that either my lifetime warranty or Chrysler would cover the cost of this since Ford in 2011 instituted a recall on this same issue. I was told that I would have to pay for the repair out of my own pocket ($900) so not having another option at the time, I agreed. I got the truck back but in the mean time I had contacted the NTSB about the problem because a gas tank detaching at highway speed (which I mostly do) could have been devastating to me or another car behind me. The NTSB asked me take photos of the repair so I got a special camera (bore scope) to look into where the weld was done. To my shock, the weld was terrible (the work was outsourced to a mobile welding shop that has a very poor reputation). I contacted the service manager (Nick) to have them review the work. After review, he stated that this was the best they could do and that I was on my own. A really poor decision by the manager because washing his hands of the issue put other people's lives at risk. The good news is that Chrysler and the NTSB had me go to Ziegler Dodge where they stated the truck was not road-worthy (the techs said this was some of the worst welding they had ever seen) and began working on a proper fix (at Chrysler's expense this time). Had I not checked on the quality of the work, this could have led to tragedy (I keep thinking of the minivan where all of those kids lost their lives when the tank exploded). So, I am out of $900 for worthless work, but will be more selective of my dealership going forward. I am disappointed because I put a lot of miles on my truck and thus was in for service at least once a month and I generally liked the service there until this incident. The RAM 1500 btw is amazing; the best car I have ever owned in spite of this. I am due for a new one and it will be a RAM but not at this dealership. More
