Going the extra mile to find the solution! My 2016 Chevy Colorado Turbo-diesel had been having issues with the emissions system sensors for a while. It was temporarily fixed so I could take my My 2016 Chevy Colorado Turbo-diesel had been having issues with the emissions system sensors for a while. It was temporarily fixed so I could take my grandkids on our planned travel trailer vacation, but we know there was more to be found. Well, on that vacation we had to make an overnight correction and put in some parts in Folsom Ca. Tom (service advisor Folsom) did a great job for us there!!! So we had a successful trip with only a little delay. However, when I returned home, I took my truck back into Dublin where the mechanic (name unknown) worked very hard to run down the problem with all the continued emissions system communications about limiting the speed of my truck. Louis Lanza (service advisor Dublin) made sure that I had a vehicle to use to go to work while the mechanic was searching for an elusive problem. Louis called and made sure to keep me up to date as the search progressed. Finally, I got the word that the issue was solved. One of the electrical wires to the emissions sensors had the insulation rubbed off by contact with the metal framework of the truck. Consequently, the whole system was intermittently shorting out as I drove. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not... Kudos to the team!!! I am very happy with the results and will certainly be back when I need service. Thank you Chevrolet More
