Although the service department is very friendly and they try hard it's just a pain to go there. It takes so many hours to get a basic service done. Hours and hours of sitting waiting for my car. The one time I did take the shuttle, I drove around the entirety of Pleasanton and LIvermore before I finally got home. As I walked in the door I received a phone call saying my car was ready. This time I asked for an oil change and they said it was covered under some plan. Not one of the people who looked at my car looked in the computer to see if I needed an oil change. They were following some "plan." I sat in their waiting room for 2 1/2 hours and all they did was look at my car. Not one person looked at the computer to see if I needed oil. I've taken my car only there for service so they have all of the records. I had called in advance to ask when was the last time I had received new oil and the guy told me. They have the information right there in their computer but not one person bothered to look. All they did was follow the "plan." Definitely no thinking going on, just follow the plan and get her out of there. It was a HUGE waste of time. They actually thought I would let them have the car again right then to change the oil after all that. Who knows how long it would take this time since they were actually going to do some work on my car. Every time I go there it is ridiculous amounts of time waiting for my car. They are slow and if you don't tell them exactly what to work on they will do nothing with your car. More

I rarely used a dealer in the past, and now I will only use a dealer. The local shop did not stand behind their work nor would they reimburse me, and that cost me any savings I ever had from using a small shop.
