Todays technology is great, we sent text back and forth for a few days, then I drove over and came back to Okeechobee with a new car! I was in a daunting situation with an older foreign model car...upside down in value. The last thing that I wanted was to be interrogated and disappointed by a crafty car salesman. My experience at Dyer Chevrolet exceeded all expectations. From the moment that I met Matthew M., he was calm. He listened to my dilemma and my financial picture. Matthew provided me with clear, concise information during the entire process. He was not pushy...he was my guide to place me into the vehicle for my needs and my budget. I have never owned an American vehicle but I was impressed with the vehicle that Matthew and I selected. Well, after finding the vehicle that was a match, we still needed to visit Julian D in finance. Julian worked on my behalf to apply the incentives and rebates for which I qualified. No stone remained unturned... I sincerely appreciate the effort and commitment that the staff demonstrated. The weight and burden of that older vehicle was lifted... Painless buying, but painful delivery Salesman Andre Henry was very nice, knowledgeable and not pushy. Also, Christian was training and went on the test drives with us and he was nice as well. For the buying experience, I'd give them 5 starts. But, the delivery part was where the 3 stars is. We got there at 2:30 (the appointment had been set up that morning) to find our salesman had left for the day. This was after sitting in the lounge for 1/2 hour and them bringing out a different salesman that had no idea who we were. Finally another salesman came out and explained their computer system had been up and down and he'd be handling us in Andre's absence. We offered to come back the next day, but were told to wait (it was the day before the end of the month). We waited over an hour to finally see the finance guy and sign papers. Then we had to ask to have someone show us how everything worked in the car (I was left on my own to do the OnStar setup). What should have been 1/2 appointment to pick up the car turned into a 2 1/2 hour ordeal. Granted, I do understand computer issues, but the confusion of everyone there is why I rated 3 stars instead of higher. More
