I rarely leave negative reviews, but after buying a roughly $135,000 Escalade from Earnhardt Cadillac, this experience deserves to be documented. Credit where it’s due: Scott in service/paint was ex roughly $135,000 Escalade from Earnhardt Cadillac, this experience deserves to be documented. Credit where it’s due: Scott in service/paint was excellent, Tobey in sales was helpful, and Sara in finance was great. Unfortunately, management was a completely different experience. After numerous defects on my first new Escalade, it was replaced. The replacement then had additional paint issues and scratches that appeared after dealership work. Cadillac Corporate ultimately stepped in, took my concerns seriously, and provided accommodations. Sales Manager Kevin Kish was dismissive and arrogant. His solution was essentially to unwind the deal, reimburse my clear bra/tint, give me my trade-in back, and tell me to go elsewhere. Even worse, despite repeatedly asking to speak with GM Kenny Clayton and never having a substantive conversation with him, I later received a voicemail stating Kenny had directed the dealership to no longer welcome me for service. This was after Cadillac Corporate resolved the dispute and helped arrange my service appointment. I’ve owned Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Range Rovers, Ford trucks, etc., and have never experienced management like this. Cadillac Corporate handled the situation professionally. Kenny Clayton and Kevin Kish did not. I’ll be making the Earnhardt family aware as well. Everything above is documented, including the voicemail. More
