Our loyalty was met with a complete lack of integrity when the last vehicle (my Dodge Challenger) had immediate and obvious "issues." I took my vehicle in for service, they had it for week and claimed they could not find the root issue. My service manager (Randy) could not have been more apathetic and disinterested about allowing me to take home a vehicle that had problems. Fast forward a year, the issues not only persist, but become worse. Suddenly, Randy is able to determine the problem within 12 hours, only now it is not covered under warranty. How convenient. To top it off, they never wash your vehicle for you, even when you've had your car in for weeks at a time, spending thousands of dollars. Stay away! You are better off at Chapman. More
Follow up customer service makes everything good I went to Earnhardt Dodge as part of my research in what was a pending purchase of a 2017 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. Because of their large inventor I went to Earnhardt Dodge as part of my research in what was a pending purchase of a 2017 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. Because of their large inventory, the sales person brought out a vehicle that was everything that I was looking for in a unique red color. We went through the sales process and I acquired the vehicle. The Finance Manager was exceptionally helpful and we closed the deal. I will admit that my interaction with the sales person was sub-par, but the vehicle was so striking that I went ahead and made the deal. After arriving home, I received the Dodge follow up customer service survey, which I completed honestly, and candidly pointed out what I considered deficiencies in the purchase process. I was subsequently contacted by multiple sales managers and a customer service manager who were interested in how they fell down in the customer process, and they bent over backwards to resolve the deficiencies. It turned out the sales person was new and not familiar with the Earnhardt sales process and he also was not familiar with all the vehicle computer/electronic capacities associated with the higher level Challenger. I was invited back to the dealership and was given a thorough walk through with another representative. Although Earnhardt stumbled initially, they went above and beyond to make things right. Initially I would not consider returning for a vehicle purchase, but after the subsequent contact, I would not hesitate returning to the dealership. During the sales process, I was advised that there would be a survey coming, and anything less than a 10 out of 10 was considered a failure. In my follow up contact with staff, it is evident that the desire for 10 out of 10 in customer contacts is genuine. A vehicle purchase these days is a significant investment and I believe that Earnhardt Dodge deserves the opportunity to be part of the process, which will protect the investment after the deal is closed. STAY AWAY alternator caught fire at gas station See NHTSA recall 14V-634 or T36 for Chrysler alternator shorting out and causing electrical problems. This happened to my car 2 weeks ago and the See NHTSA recall 14V-634 or T36 for Chrysler alternator shorting out and causing electrical problems. This happened to my car 2 weeks ago and the alternator caught fire at the gas station, luckily AAA was at the same station when it happened and worked fast to disconnect the battery at the same time all of the pumps were being shutdown. I had the car towed and taken into Earnhardt Chrysler to resolve the problem only to find when I went to pick up the car the A.C. no longer works. They are now saying it will take an estimated $1800 in further repairs to correct the air conditioning which worked fine prior to the alternator shorting out. The dealer says they have diagnosed the issue by smell and no further testing is needed. I have all found out that they have replaced the alternator with a the same model rather has the safety recall as the new one will not be available for another "18 months" their words not mine. I refuse to take my car until it is repaired properly and have not gained anyground by trying to work with Earnhardts, I guess now the next thing to do is involve corporate as the service manger Larry has not been helpful in making these repairs and has not returned my voice mails making me take time out of my day to go in there and discuss in person. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE MY CHRYSLER 300 IS USED TO TRANSPORT MY FAMILY AND CLIENTS AND NOW CANNOT BE GUARANTEED SAFE AND I REFUSE TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. MAKE IT RIGHT!!! Looks like it's time to try and get the video footage from the gas station as I will not let this issue go and will not accept the car until it is corrected More
Express oil change is more like a traffic jam When I bought my first Dodge fro Earnhardt, service was a breeze. The location on Arizona Ave was a dump, but the service was good, quick and easy. I When I bought my first Dodge fro Earnhardt, service was a breeze. The location on Arizona Ave was a dump, but the service was good, quick and easy. I sold that truck and bought another one from the new dealership. A big, beautiful dealership that is clean, bright and gorgeous. The service sucks though. Express service is a joke. It is anything but express. If you plan on bringing your vehicle here, brace yourself for a LONG stay. Its impossible. STAY AWAY! More
