We believe he is a A-One salesman he is very patient, seems very sincere and makes you feel comfortable and happy with purchase. I believe he is an assets to this company and we wish him all the best. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle More

Generic Sales Spiel.. I contacted East Hills Chevrolet yesterday in regards to a 2014 Tahoe they are advertising on their website as a new car. When I called their sales #, I contacted East Hills Chevrolet yesterday in regards to a 2014 Tahoe they are advertising on their website as a new car. When I called their sales #, I was informed that the car was still available and was given 2 different sales prices, 1 with the current tire upgrade and 1 with regular tires. I asked if those prices were negotiable and was informed that they definitely were, especially being that it was the end of the month and the car is the last they have of the 2014's. I made an appointment to see the SUV for the next day (today) and informed the receptionist that I would be driving from New Jersey. All was cool. I showed up this morning after driving out from Jersey City with my 2 year old son, and was told to "hold on" as they located the car. They "found" the Tahoe on a back lot, and took me to it. On the walk out, I asked the saleswoman why the car hasn't sold and was informed that it was probably because of the "tire upgrades". She then informed me that the vehicle is missing a piece to the drivers side mirror but that it was "on order". I get out to the vehicle and it is wedged between 2 cars, covered in bird poo. No joke. There's a huge divot in the front bumper from a trailer tow, Wires are exposed where the driver's side mirror cover is missing. There are scratches all over the interior. And best of all, there's over 6,000 miles on the car already. The saleswoman could sense my frustration as to the misrepresentation. She said if I want to hit a "home run" with the sales price, then this is the car for me. Otherwise they can show me a new 2015 Tahoe. Your generic sales spiel.... To make a long story short, we get inside and she does the usual conference with the sales manager and comes back with the same numbers I was given on the phone yesterday. After I said those numbers weren't gonna get it done due to the previously unmentioned depreciation of the vehicle, she asked to see my printout of information on the SUV. Finally, the manager comes out to shake my hand and tell me that they were in fact advertising this car as a demo and doubted that the printout I handed him was from their website. I offered to go on their website and show him where I printed out the info from, but he didn't care to see that. He said that the receptionist told me on the phone how much the car was selling for, and followed that up with a "what were you expecting to come down here to get some kind of deal?" Up to that point, I was still willing to negotiate despite my frustration. But then I knew that he wasn't concerned with selling me the vehicle, but rather defending his dealership's practices. SO in short, they misrepresented the facts to get me in the showroom, weren't prepared for my visit, presented the vehicle poorly, and spent the rest of the time defending their practices to a customer rather than negotiate a deal. At least I got a good laugh in the car on the ride back to Jersey..... More

Avoid at all costs Avoid this place like the plague. I love my car but their service department is slow and ruthless. They continually lie & can't keep all their lies co Avoid this place like the plague. I love my car but their service department is slow and ruthless. They continually lie & can't keep all their lies consistent. They have an air of professionalism but they are heartless. When I complained my car & I were forbidden to return even though I purchased the car from them & I have a bumper to bumper warranty. My wife & her car were also barred from their service center. Now they may dislike me enough to ask me never to return. But refusing to service my wife's car was pure spite on their part. I don't believe in guilt by association. They are punishing my wife, a customer in good standing, just because she is married to me. They are vicious as they are lazy. Please avoid this dealership. Unless you enjoyed being mislead and you enjoy hearing how sorry they are for any inconvenience you are experiencing. After the 10th time of hearing that line said to you robotically, I am certain you will think, as I do, that it is a sardonic joke. My first encounter was a flat tire. It took them 100 hours to get me a spare. They said it was special. GM told me otherwise. My next encounter was worse. They had me waiting 3 hours after I arrived for my 10am appointment, only to be told they're too busy & they have to reschedule. Clearly they have too many customers to handle them all adequately. We can all help East Hills by leaving them & never returning. They don't know their product & they cant deal with people. More
