Warranty misrepresentation. My son asked me to go with him to buy a 2010 Traverse at East Hills Chevrolet. I asked him to check the reviews and he said, they all pretty much grea My son asked me to go with him to buy a 2010 Traverse at East Hills Chevrolet. I asked him to check the reviews and he said, they all pretty much great reviews, of course, I also check and he was right. We were assisted by Mr. Juan Nadal, he was friendly and mistakenly, trustworthy. We saw the car and since the car is used, I asked Juan if there was any warranty, he said yes, I spoked to my son and we decided to buy the vehicle. After a week my son receives a bill from Bank of America but he was suspicious of the total amount due and the amount we owe, I check the figures and and we owe the Bank $3,648.00 more than we had negotiated at the dealer, after further investigation, I realize it was payment for a Warranty. We go into the dealer and when I asked Juan, why are we paying for warranty when you said it was included, he tells with smirk on his face that he didn't say the warranty was included, I have to admit, I have to admit, I lost my temper and bang on the table, the whole staff come in to cool things down. Robert brought us into his office and eventually, my son was willing to pay $1,600.00 for the Warranty. He said will be receiving a chef for $3,648.00 from the dealer, in turn, we would send it to the bank and reduce our due amount. This happened over 30 days ago and we still have not yet received a check. I placed a call today April 25th and spoke to Robert, he said he'll check with accounting, hangs up, and yes, I'm sure they will be paying, either in or out of court. I'm sure there are great salespeople in this dealer but I had a bad experience and for those that may not know if they are paying more, for something that was suppose to be included, beware. More
