We strive to be world-class in everything we do and as you saw in our reviews online, I answer each and every one of them. I only wish I had an opportunity to speak with you on Friday night or Saturday morning to provide you with a status report on the pre-owned 2009 Lexus IS 250 in which you inquired. I have instructed my teams that they are not to contact customers who write negative reviews directly. I have a direct line to our owner and I apologize if you perceived the phone call from Cat Rivera on Saturday to be anything other than productive or apologetic. We had three interested parties on this vehicle on Friday, July 12, 2013. The first customer was in the showroom when your request arrived at 5:12 pm. The third customer contacted us Friday night as well, shortly after your lead arrived. The first customer left a deposit and completed a credit application. We ran their credit and they are taking delivery tonight, Monday, July 15, 2013. Your credit application arrived after we took the deposit on the vehicle from the first customer. Because your interest in this vehicle was in second place behind the first party and because we did not have a deposit on the vehicle evidencing stronger intent, as a process, our sales manager did not to run your credit. This protects your credit rating should you elect to purchase a vehicle elsewhere. We failed to keep you up to date on all the developments with the first buyer of this vehicle. Further, we should have disclosed to you, in writing, the status of your application. I have shredded your credit application in accordance with our policies. Thank you for your response. I am still horribly disgusted at the fact that I was completely blown off by several of your representatives and your company. I could have trying to get approved for other cars in the process instead of wasting my time chasing an answer from your dealership. I was kept in the dark about everything and treated badly when I did call. Not to mention how rude Cat was when she called me lying to me directly insisting that she had spoken to me and informed me that the Lexus had a deposit on it. Just terrible. She was incredibly rude and so was Scott. I hope you learn to treat people better in the future. I had a considerably large cash deposit for the vehicle and you lost a very good customer.
