i have been dealing with East Hiils Chevy of Douglaston thru 6 leases. Never had a really bad experience with my leasing salesperson, but I have to say that this new lease for my 2021 Chevy Equinox was ver thru 6 leases. Never had a really bad experience with my leasing salesperson, but I have to say that this new lease for my 2021 Chevy Equinox was very smooth. Sonia Mitsis did a very good job of seeing that i was satisfied with deal made. This new lease was a great deal for me as I got out of my lease early with the dealer buying my 2019 Equinox from GM financial and moving me into the new car smoothly. Sonia got me thru the transaction in a short time. Thank you Sonia. The only reason I deducted 1 star has to do with the ownership and not with the sales person who was excellent. Over all the time i have used this dealer I was able to pay with personal checks. They now only want a bank check or a charge card (and they do not accept AMEX). As a long term customer with a superb credit rating I felt annoyed and insulted. Other dealers in the area still take personal checks. I suggest they use a check guaranty company. That was my only complaint. More

I went into the dealership with a scheduled appointment for one individual, whom I was informed was going to be out, when I arrived. We sat down and discussed what features I was looking into and we were able to pinpoint some vehicles. He took me out to the lot and walked me through some of the vehicles, very patiently and answered my questions knowledgeably. I test drove a vehicle of my liking, came back and was ready to get to business. He really made the entire process seamless and as stress free as possible. He was sociable and funny. He entertained both my mother and I, without hesitation. The entire experience was a pleasant one. He was willing to work with me and get me into the vehicle I wanted. Needless to say, I will be going back there for future purchases and referring my friends/family. Go to this dealership with confidence, you won’t be disappointed! More

This place ranks at the top for worst service. They hold your car for days without offering loaners and the service advisors are always too busy to get back to you or even call you with status updates. Even after they start "working" on your car, it takes days for them to diagnose the issue. I tried my best to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after several visits withr the same exact ourcome I have nothing good to say about them. Unfortunately I have an extended warranty on my car and am dreading having to deal with this dealership for the long term but will start looking elsewhere to have my car serviced. This place simply sucks. More
