Terrible customer service I tried to make an appointment to service my leased 2012 Equinox on 3/13/15 & was told that the first available appt wasn't until mid April. I explained that my truck seems to have some type of electrical short because the radio & blue tooth go dead intermittently & the truck wouldn't start last week. Fortunately, the truck started today, but I'm afraid that the truck may short while I'm driving and cause an accident. The truck is due for an oil change which I thought I would do while having the electrical problem fixed. As it stands now, I have to go to a local mechanic to change my oil & do the service & hope & pray that my electrical system doesn't short out while I'm driving. Thank God my lease is up in June. I will NEVER buy or lease another Chevrolet. Sadly, Chevrolet is unable to provide service to the volume of vehicles that they sell & lease. I tried to explain the urgency of the problem to the receptionist & the manager & was told they have "too much work" & that my vehicle wasn't their responsibility since I leased from Major. I told them that I've been bringing my truck for service to East Hills since 2012 & was never told that I should go back to Major. Joanne More

When I complained my car & I were forbidden to return even though I purchased the car from them & I have a bumper to bumper warranty. My wife & her car were also barred from their service center. Now they may dislike me enough to ask me never to return. But refusing to service my wife's car was pure spite on their part. I don't believe in guilt by association. They are punishing my wife, a customer in good standing, just because she is married to me. They are vicious as they are lazy. Please avoid this dealership. Unless you enjoyed being mislead and you enjoy hearing how sorry they are for any inconvenience you are experiencing. After the 10th time of hearing that line said to you robotically, I am certain you will think, as I do, that it is a sardonic joke. My first encounter was a flat tire. It took them 100 hours to get me a spare. They said it was special. GM told me otherwise. My next encounter was worse. They had me waiting 3 hours after I arrived for my 10am appointment, only to be told they're too busy & they have to reschedule. Clearly they have too many customers to handle them all adequately. We can all help East Hills by leaving them & never returning. They don't know their product & they cant deal with people. More

And the nerve to try and give it back to me like that. Spoke to Jamie to get it resolved. Did not so much as offer me an oil change. Even for warranty work, please don't go here. Like a stupid I went back to get my air conditioner checked, and the power steering checked, only to learn that both units had trouble. Keith told me that I was out of warranty by 28 days, and they would have to charge me. It took me 38 days to get an appointment. Sadly they just don't care about the customer. Even after taking 38 days to get an appointment. I still waited 2 hours for them to look at the car. Every time I go there, does not matter for what, a minimum of 2 hour wait. Why make an appointment? More
Leased my 2013 Chevy Volt from Juan Nadal who was a pleasure to work with. My experience with the dealership and the service dept. in particular was nothing short of horrible in the six months I have h pleasure to work with. No respect for the customer whatsoever. My first service appointment I schedule for early morning as a wait appointment, the mechanic who was to do the work was a no show. They didn’t tell me he was MIA until an hour had passed. The third time I needed warranty service similar situation. Mechanic was not available and again I had to leave the dealership without the work done and my time wasted. The most recent experience they had my car for four days and only after I demanded my car back did they tell me the reason for the delay was the mechanic got sick. WTF?? Maybe East Hills needs another qualified mechanic and some lessons on how to manage the team and client experience. I have owned Jaguars, BMW's, Toyotas, Honda, Volvos, Infiniti and Mercedes. If you took all my negative experiences with these cars it doesn't add up to the nonsense at this dealership. Maybe a change in management is needed but the dealership owner who is in Turks and Cacaos at the moment doesn't have a clue. I should have gone for the TESLA. My bad. More

We puchased a used 2010 Chev Camero a month ago. have had nothing but issues every since. The car shakes and pulls when you reach 60 mph. Shaking bad when applying the brakes. The car was returned to us today and nothing was fixed. The sales man is the only person that will talk to me. Perry katechis will not return my call. We live in CT and can not keep driving back and forth to NY. I will say the only nice experience was they came to pick up the car, but still never fixed it. They are telling me today 8/10/2012 to drive the car back to them I've had the car in my posession about an hour and this car is shaking and pulling to the left. I can't drive over 55 and to stop on brakes is a nightmare. The car feels like it going to fall apart. The service for EastHills Chevrolet stinks. The loaner car is is a piece of crap it has the same issues as the car we purchased. We had it twice in weeks time and the oil change light is still on. I brought my car (perfectly fine w/o any service light on) in for a simple oil change this morning, waited for 2 hours, got my car back with a service light on!! On top of that, after waiting for 2 hours in a crappy waiting room (I made an appointment and arrived on time), I asked for the status of my car, then I found out they had a problem since the tire pressure light came up while they were checking my car! Apparently the mechanics had no idea what they were doing. And if I didn't ask for the status, they would have let me sit in the waiting room for god know how long! When I complained about the wait time to the rep, he basically told me making an appointment didn't mean anything! I will never go back to this place, horrible services, terrible waiting room conditions, worse of all, mechanics don't know what they are doing! More
Bob Poulos is terrific. He is in the sales department, however when I called the service department because I was late and going to be there after they closed, no one picked up. In a panic that I wouldn't be able to pick up my car, I called the sales department. Bob picked up and after I explained my situation, he said, "Mr Fox., you have nothing to worry about. I will go into the service department now and get your keys to make sure that you can pick up your car no matter what time you get here. We close at 9, but if you're going to be later than that, just call me and let me know, I'll wait for you." Are you kidding me? I haven NEVER dealt with anyone at a car dealership, in service or sales, who was more professional or willing to go out of their way. Bob, if you read this, I really thank you and I will definitely buy our next Suburban from you. More
