Buyer Beware!! Recently left a deposit on a 2018 Outback. Usually lease, but decided to buy this time. Thought we had an "out the door" price. Wrong! They wanted to charge large fees for dealer prep, DMV, last month lease payment on current vehicle and 1.9% rather than 0.9% loan fee. Deceptive practice as far as I'm concerned. Be careful. Purchased new 2018 Subaru Forester I purchased a new 2018 Forester. I had already looked at Subarus at another dealership and was price shopping when I went to Donaldson’s and met Holly I purchased a new 2018 Forester. I had already looked at Subarus at another dealership and was price shopping when I went to Donaldson’s and met Holly. I told her I already knew what I wanted and I asked if she could beat the price, which she did in a matter of minutes. I wanted specific interior and exterior colors. She did not have the colors I wanted in the Premium model so she then offered me the Limited model with the specified colors. Again she gave me her bottom line price within minutes. I was very happy with the price and quick response to my inquiries. I left and went back to the original dealer who did not have the color in the Limited model and could not match the low price in the Premium model. I emailed Holly the next night and asked to test drive the car I was thinking of purchasing the next day. She said to come in the next morning and she would meet me even though it was her day off. Holly met me with her 2 young children in tow. While we test drove the car her co-workers watched her children. This is truly a family run business. When I picked up my car Holly was very excited for me and her energy was contagious. She spent a good amount of time showing me all the cars special features. She even allowed me the time to work on these features on my own. Holly was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her as a salesperson. I also worked with Patty Davis the Finance person. She was also professional, friendly and easy to work with. I usually don’t purchase extended warranties but Patty worked with me and I got close to the deal I wanted. Again the process was made simple, easy and quick. From my experience at Donaldson’s. I would highly recommend this dealership. More
