I've bought 3 cars from Jon Lancaster Toyota and the last two from Tashi. Tashi was very helpful especially when I brought back my Prius b/c it just didn't suit my needs. I love my current Matrix and she s two from Tashi. Tashi was very helpful especially when I brought back my Prius b/c it just didn't suit my needs. I love my current Matrix and she still drives great. I think my next car will be a Subaru but that is only b/c I'm looking for a performance car with 4 wheel drive. I would highly recommend Jon Lancaster Toyota and Tashi in particular. More
I was supposed to work with Nate as he had answered my inquiry regarding purchasing a Rav4. Sadly, he was unable to work with me, but had me work with Mark. Mark was absolutely phenomenal as a sales guy inquiry regarding purchasing a Rav4. Sadly, he was unable to work with me, but had me work with Mark. Mark was absolutely phenomenal as a sales guy. He was no nonsense, straightforward, honest and completely clear with his explanations. I really had no questions to ask but Mark would ask me questions to see if I had understanding and, if I didn't, he would explain it. He went above and beyond in his work. I was thoroughly happy with my experience with Jon Lancaster in 2006 when I bought my Camry and drove from Kenosha to Madison to purchase this car. I wouldn't have done that if my experience last time was poor. Thank you to Mark and Nate and I look forward to being a Jon Lancaster customer for a long time! More
Sean was great! He listened to what my preferences were and lead me to exactly what I wanted without straying. He was very easy to work with and I never felt like I was not comfortable. He was very good and lead me to exactly what I wanted without straying. He was very easy to work with and I never felt like I was not comfortable. He was very good about understanding not only what I wanted in a vehcile, but how the vehicle would suit me best. He even programmed my blue tooth for me - if he didn't do that I probably would never use it! More
Nate & Abby were great to work with, very professional - as well everyone we dealt with at Lancaster Toyota. Having dealt with Mark for the purchase of our Prius, I must say that he was truly impressive. He DIDN'T sell the Prius to us, he let the Prius sell itself. He was (and is) present to explain the various must say that he was truly impressive. He DIDN'T sell the Prius to us, he let the Prius sell itself. He was (and is) present to explain the various features of the Prius and to assist us in finding an appropriate "level" of Prius. He spent an inordinate amount of time with us, describing features, making sure we knew what the car would and would not do. We found Mark to be both truthful and highly ethical in our dealings. His trustfullness has an impressive rating in our books. I would return at any time (if it were needed, which thankfully, it hasn't been) to work with him to purchase another Prius with his help. MY feelings about Mark are clear and straightforward...you can believe him when he speaks to you. Mark is backed up with a superb service staff and mechanics. The showroom is spectacular. Free water and coffee while you wait? You bet! Comfortable chairs and large screen TV's in the waiting area are a real plus. More

Sales Representatives were exceptionally knowledgeable in answering questions about the vehicle and sale process. Very responsive to any issues that emerged during the purchase. I especially appreciated the answering questions about the vehicle and sale process. Very responsive to any issues that emerged during the purchase. I especially appreciated the tutorials on features of new car. There was some confusion regarding final lease payments; however, this was readily handled by the sales team. More

Nathan is personable. He doesn't come across as a pushy salesman. I worked for a very short stint in car sales in Gurnee, IL and I have seen what pushy car sales looks like. With the economy, it is definit salesman. I worked for a very short stint in car sales in Gurnee, IL and I have seen what pushy car sales looks like. With the economy, it is definitely a tough industry. Every customer seems to want a new car at invoice. The core of car sales, in order to bring up the price, would be to add on accessories, such as rust proofing. I signed on for a tire replacement program. All things set aside, Nathan helped me utilize this feature when I had gotten into a bad road situation with my vehicle. One of my tires had to be replaced. He replaced it, but not without having to illustrate the situation for him. With Nathan being so descriptive with everything about our car sales, he failed to mention that my tire replacement program was only good, without out of pocket cost/then followed reimbursement, at his dealership. I live in Skokie, IL. I signed on for the replacement program with the understanding that these types of situations never happen right near your dealership. I knew the tires on my car weren't the durable type, and built more for dry road and performance -- I needed to have the convenience of not having to set aside money for a possible tire issue. You know? Just fix it! I kind of felt that Nathan didn't get that when I told him that I felt like it was the responsibility of his dealership to handle the red tape. He followed through, but I had to draw a picture for him when I was already stuck in a very inconvenient situation and very stressed out. I also think Nathan told me my Matrix had Blue Tooth. I does not. Nathan is great. I really believe that every person should see this man in order to purchase a new Toyota. I cannot complain otherwise, but I am in customer service too. All the customer sees (not myself. I'm different.) is when something bad happens, then all the good you've done as a sales person, up to that point, means nothing. Nathan needs to understand that. I know in car sales, this aspect is hard to swallow, but perhaps this sinking economy should make all dealerships think twice. Last: Do NOT go to Grossinger Toyota in Skokie. They're TERRIBLE!! I think it's so tacky when a car sales person uses the one liner, "What can I do to get you in this car today?" PUHLEEESE!! Oh ick. It sounds like prostitution. I have seen the way they treat their new car sales people.. it is so terrible. Not uncommon (I was treated the same way when I was new), but they made it apparent in front of me, the customer, which is not going to make me purchase a car from them. They seriously need to be put out of business. They are whores. More
